I actually think we will win this game ok. I know we tend to get caught on the counter and spurs turn in world class performances but the normal playbook is ripped up this season. 2-1 win.

Forget the title race and as iv said before try and rediscover who we are. Football is over complicated. All this Haaland business. Pass the ball to him in decent areas and he will score. Try to speed up the play from the back and play with our heads high. City don’t give in. Reality check done, we have been humbled. I hope it’s the fire needed to rediscover our identity.

Give Foden a go on the right in place of Mahrez who just doesn't do it when starting a game. Foden will get his form back and dropping him won't be the best of moves

With Alvarez playing behind Viking I see lots of link up play and a defence panicking, trying to deal with Alvarez pace and work rate. Whilst keeping an eye on Haaland. Add full backs flying outside down the wings and Mahrez Foden or Grealish cutting inside at the right moments. A lot more pace and energy and I reckon we will see a marked improvement.

We are in awful form at the moment and the worst possible opponent is probably our bogey team Spurs. An absolutely dreadful side full of useless players who always get a result against us no matter how terrible they play. Doesnt matter if we have 40 shots and they 1, it's dead certain PLs worst GK Lloris will somehow have his game of the year and that Son or Kane will score on their only chance from their embarrassing and shameless park the bus and boot it long tactic. Happens every year. Im usually just a bit pessimistic when facing the luckiest team in the world but on our current form a loss seems dead certain.

I hope a miracle happens and that Spurs for once dont get rewarded with a win despite being absolutely horrendous the entire game. That we bounce back big and finally give them the trashing our performances against them usually deserves in a 5-0 win.

But more likely it will be the same old, 10 men bus parked in their penalty box, 32-1 in chances in our favor, 3.2-0.1 in xG and 0-1 on the scoreboard. Cant wait.

Actually we dont always lose to spurs. Yes at their ground but i think last years result has clouded it for some. we actually have a pretty good record against them at the etihad under pep.

There was enough in their 2nd half performance today to know that they'll cause us big problems. But if we can't score past that defence then I'll have major concerns for the rest of our season
