Outstanding again - Kyle must be concerned ha!- Rico is defining the modern Pep fullback role.

He is a tough lad, gets fouled alot but still gets back on his feet and plays his game.

Very impressive so far this season.

Looking forward to seeing him more and more.

What we tend to forget is that other youngsters, notably Foden and Palmer, have been introduced to the firsts as wide players. Out there they have been free to watch the play develop and have been protected from the kind of kicking Lewis took tonight. Utmost respect for him.

I really think he's going to play in midfield a lot more because we need both him and Walker in the side.

Pep tried the Walker CB idea to get them in the same team, not sure that worked, so the obvious next step is Rico playing next to Rodri. Pep's selection tonight showed that Bernardo and KDB are not undroppable.

I think it would really suit him too, you can see he wants to get forward more but is holding back so he can do his RB responsibilities, and he's already developed a great relationship with Rodri, combining quick 1-2s and movement to beat the press and getting each other out of trouble when they're under pressure.

Great game, and what a trajectory this season. Your have got good odds against him starting a game this season with Foden and Palmer on the bench.

He has that great ability to know what he should do with the ball before he gets it. Great at keeping the game moving.
