I don't get this 'rest' for KDB. How much rest does he need?

I think the WC fucked up his head. Together with the fact he probably needs more recovery time these days than previous seasons. I think we need to have him in top shape for the key games against Spuds,Arsenal and RBL coming up in February.
Bringing him on today on the hour would be a smart move.
