Joke thread

Yes , but some atheists are insomniacs, can we agree on that. Same for agnostics, some of them are also dyslexic. Your pedantry is welcomed on this occasion.
Thank you. However, in the gag it is the doubt about the existence of a god or not which keeps the agnostic awake.
An atheist wouldn't be worried enough to stay awake fretting over the deity's existence - he/she knows there isn't a god, so he/she has no sleep-preventing doubt on that issue.
Just to be pedantic.

Well just to be even more pedantic - many would argue (though use of language is never a black and white issue) that Gnosticism and Theism describe different things and so you can actually be both atheistic and agnostic simultaneously. One is a statement of belief, the other a statement of knowledge.

You can lack belief in a god without asserting that there is no god or without knowing that you are correct. In fact I think most atheists would fall into that category. Agnostic atheism is like a “default position”. You don’t believe in a god but you also don’t believe there is no god - you effectively have no position on the issue.

The positive assertion that no god exists would be what many would describe as gnostic atheism, or sometimes anti-theistic. Though people would argue these are more technical categorisations and are not compatible with the common parlance, which is closer to your description.

But you know… this is the joke thread and something something the atheist left his bike outside.

True story, takes me back a few years ago my wife's car was in for a service so she borrowed mine to go and see a patient at their home on a very posh road with big driveways, she went up to the wrong address and decided to reverse out and ended up in a similar situation, the AA had to get a crane out to put it back on the road,
Just a total shot in the dark here, but did it turn out to be the thing she reversed overs fault?

The dog might keep him awake by barking.
