Gundogan, De Bruyne, Walker and Mahrez are all older. Mahrez is actually having his best season, despite turning 32 this month. You have to have a blend of quality, experience and then youthful energy.

Gundogan as excellent as he has been for us probably won’t be here after the summer. Walker is having his playing time curbed by Rico Lewis. If you rely on experience for too long you end up like the scousers who have a massive rebuild coming up.

We didn't buy any of them this season though.
We buy young talent, nurture and improve them so that there is a steady flow. The rags haven't a clue about young footballers. They bought Sancho as a status piece not because he fitted into a system.
