Yep. I looked last year at the ratio of commercial income to broadcast income, on the basis that the more successful you are (share of broadcast income), the more commercially attractive you are (higher commercial income). City were in line with most other leading clubs in Europe, total revenue was just higher because we were doing better in a league with better broadcast coverage.

The exceptions were Bayern and PSG, both way above the commercial income you would expect from the leagues they are in (don't know why, cough cough, shareholder sponsors), and Liverpool, way below for some reason. God awful commercial management probably.

So nothing to see there from the perspective of City's positioning at all.

This will ALL have been signed off, choreographed and rehearsed. Make no mistake about that. This lot run things properly and that includes having the main man on message. And the fact that they do makes me feel all the more strongly that they wouldn’t have screwed up basic accounting practice.

The twats Neville and Carragher saying it's impossible that City have commercial revenue higher than united and livarpool! Needs looking at by the club IMHO. We have been the most successful team in the most lucrative league for the last 10 years. And, like as not, we have strong links to Abu Dhabi which brings influence and wanting to be associated with the club to curry favour with the state. Jealous as fuck those and most of the fans on that feed. All have us convicted already. I really hope the club go after some of the twats when we win this on the damage to our and their reputations.
 
Lock the thread until the not guilty verdict, we , our titles, our money, our owner and our beliefs are going nowhere.

If there was the slightest doubt about guilt, Joseph Pep Guardiola squashed every ounce of that today, we are fortunate to have such a wonderful leader at the club.

What makes me laugh when they make these comments is have they ever thought that the corruption might be the other way round?

Maybe their American owners aren't declaring all their revenues and maybe they have sponsors paying directly into the owners and not via the clubs accounts?

Probably not happening but it's still stupid of them to assume it's definitely not.
 
Thank you Pep for standing up today to some of the rats taking part in this witch-hunt. So called journalists having to be reminded of the concept of innocent until guilty. Shameful.

Some lesser men with no affinity for the club could have took the easy option and ran. It’s not as though he would be short of offers.

But today flags up the clubs inadequate public relations since we were taken over. Cowardly bullies running with the mob need to be stood up to. Only when the club start going for those journalists who use words like fraud will they start getting respect.

The red loving press will never like us so stand up to them.
