PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Levy may well have issues with City but what you said was 100% anti semitic but I am not going to fall out with you.
Ok. I think it is complex. There is an anti-Arab culture in some football boardrooms and I have seen it first-hand. It includes people like JW Henry and in the media people like Tariq Panja. Levy is part of that. Perhaps it is just bigotry. I am not sure what the right word is. It is a wider issue than religion.

Not always been his biggest fan, but fair play to Sam Allardyce for voicing some support for us this week. Makes a change to hear someone not just trotting out the type of uninformed shite that we've endured from the likes of Simon Jordan and Gabby Agbonlahor in the last few days:

Speaking to William Hill and Footy Accumulators’ No Tippy Tappy Football, a series in which Sam Allardyce and host Natalie Pike are joined by a special guest each week to discuss the big stories surrounding the 2022/23 Premier League and beyond, Allardyce said: “Of course there is jealousy – all the other clubs will be rubbing their hands together wanting Man City to be found guilty, as we’ve seen in the press.

“Football has always been unfair. The fact that if you have more fans, you have more money to spend, that’s what it was like when I played. The ones that had the most fans had the most money, and that’s how they grew. Football is a business now; as long as it’s the right money coming in, why not welcome it?

“It seems like the owners and the chief executives want City kicked out of the league which is not the right thing to do. I hope they aren’t found guilty and prove the other side and come out on top.”

Big Sam eh? To be fair I've always kind of liked him. He's never taken himself too seriously and on the whole has done very well with limited resources. He enjoyed putting the bigger clubs noses out of joint too.

He's obviously spot on. Football has always been that those with the most money and fans = more revenue, win more. Sure there are the odd rare exceptions but majorly that's been the case. It was fine until it was us and of course we've done it better in a shorter timescale, which has pissed off the entitled wankers who's noses we have pushed out of joint even more. Fuck them all.

Sympathy for Mike ? When she said it’s our job to point this out, having spouted a load of half truths and out of context bollocks, Mike says it absolutely is ? With friends like that……
I hear ya but shes his boss isnt she? And hes live on Sly.....if he responded with Shut up silly woman hed get sacked . Id rather have him on the inside than the outside

Maybe Levy is the fucking ringleader
City have said before we think Arsenal are.

In reality they’re all at it.

They all work together and are all business partners. United and Liverpool, in particular, are best mates at boardroom level.

What that reddy needs to look back on us peps comments about leaving
He said he would leave if the club has lied to him not if we are found guilty

Pep named Levy. Levy is deeply involved I have no doubt

I do wonder if the reason City paid the release clause for Grealish was because there was collusion amongst teams not to sell to City that summer? A release clause would have been our only way around that. Otherwise we'd have missed out on both our top targets?

Fucking lol, what's the liverpool's papers' takeaway from that press conference?

'Guardiola backtracks on exit vow'

You couldn't fucking make it up.

Would you really expect anything else? What he actually said was he would leave if he was lied to. He wasn't so he stayed and this latest fiasco is ongoing.

No use if he doesn’t correct all the inaccurate bollocks being spouted. I’m sure he could fight our corner in a discreet way

Wow! Ive just watched Melissa Reddy on SSN do an absolute emotional hatchet job on Pep in response to his presser. If there was any doubt that Sky were impartial in this....and tbf there wasnt.....shes just hung SSN by the balls. Vehemently feeling the need to inform viewers of everything Sky think is inaccurate about his comments and then openly criticising him for saying he will stay vs comments he made two years ago and trying to suggest they are contradictory when they werent is shameful unprofessional journalism. Ill be surprised if she keeps her job. Her mate Kevin Solihull Chief Reporter has been hammering city for a week. There is zero balance to Sly Sports coverage of this. Gotta feel sorry for Mike Wedderburn working with that shower

Don’t know why you bother. Sky is part of the problem. All main stream media is.

Everyone should cancel their Sky subscriptions

Quite apt;

The Sundays
Here is where the story ends.

People I know, places I go
Make me feel tongue tied
But I can see how people look down
They're on the inside
Here's where the story ends
People I see, weary of me
Showing my good side
I can see how people look down
I'm on the outside
Here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes my eyes feel sore
Oh, I never should have said the books that you read
Were all I loved you for
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes me wonder why
It's the memories of your shed ( The Swamp) that make me turn red
Surprise, surprise, surprise

Crazy I know, places I go
Make me feel so tired
And I can see how people look down
I'm on the outside
Oh, here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes my eyes feel sore
And who ever would've thought the books that you brought
Were all I loved you for
Oh, the devil in me said, "Go down to the shed"
I know where I belong
But the only thing I ever really wanted to say
Was wrong, was wrong, was wrong
It's that little souvenir of a colorful year
Which makes me smile inside
So I cynically, cynically say the world is that way
Surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise
Here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends

Edit: sorry. Wrong thread. I was thinking of the entrance music for Sunday.
