Congratulations, that’s in the running to be one of the worst posts of all time on this forum.Maybe this will be our Munich or Hillsborough that galvanises external support for years.
I heard you always get your round in.The emails were of nugatory evidential value.
And I’m no stranger to dodgy practices either!
been searching, but can't see it - has anyone got a link to the embargoed part of yesterday's press conference?
Just seen @Prestwich_Blue on Cheeseys vlog, well done mate very informative.

Who wasn't impressed? We will leave it there as you are just making shit up now. Some are going way over the top and are acting like pre pubescent girls at a boy band concert. Knock yourselves out Rawk would be proud. Not at all, it was reaffirming what many had already said, it was a great speech under intense pressure under the scrutiny of the whole football world. Any Blue who was unmoved by that or wasn't impressed should consider watching chess.
That describes all levels of football though. They’re all opportunistic, always have been and always will be. No different to diving, feigning injury and the other myriad of things that are seen every week. It’s why our demotion from the PL would be attractive to other teams, in that it’s one more threat out of the way and means teams can move up 1 or 2 places as well. No different to us signing up for the ESL and now supporting FFP!There’s no way Newcastle Leicester Wolves and Burnley’s boardrooms were part of any bullying. They were just opportunist cunts.
It’s all on the others, especially the Redshirts.
As I said before I am not going( as a Chelsea supporter) comment on the validity or otherwise of the charges but will on process.
I am not sure that City would have any grounds to withhold any documents re finances if requested even if they were thought by City to be irrelevant
Power to Inspect
E.1.
Without prejudice to its powers of inquiry under Rule W.1, the Board either by itself or by any Person appointed by it shall be empowered to inspect the financial records of any Club which it reasonably suspects has acted in breach of these Rules.
Funny how we were found not guilty on all the charges that were heard. But all the charges which were allegedly time barred we would have been guilty of.Exactly. Jordan in particular rants all the time that we weren't cleared by CAS we got off on a time barred technicality.
Yeah, for once I watched Soccer Saturday start just to see what they had to say, and they were very very careful. Obviously been warned as even Stelling and that moron Merson said jack shit. The football world isn’t as seemingly bullish as they once were, are they?
Wonder what’s happening behind the scenes.

Nugatory. Every day is a school day :)The emails were of nugatory evidential value.

Yep,very cagey on football focus as well. Lot's of 'allegedly' banded aboutYeah, for once I watched Soccer Saturday start just to see what they had to say, and they were very very careful. Obviously been warned as even Stelling and that moron Merson said jack shit.

If it is the case that charges are dropped, then City should aim the loaded guns at our accusers and open fire on them. From a mate (I am only a messenger!):
"Spoke with an MP mate who I won't say (there are some good ones BTW). The Dept of Culture, Media and Sport (think current sports minister is Lucy Fraser) are incandescent with the PL's antics and the push for the independent regulator is being accelerated. Furthermore there are lots of shit stick stories on the horizon about the PL, backhanders etc, going to come out in due course inc monopoly corruption in regards to tv revenues and access. Bottom line is they are supporters of City as a catalyst for change".
It's interesting from the point of view that independent regulation could come in before our hearing takes place. If that happens, our charges could well be reviewed and even dropped.
Is this real life?
Now don't watch it again;)Yeah, for once I watched Soccer Saturday start just to see what they had to say, and they were very very careful. Obviously been warned as even Stelling and that moron Merson said jack shit.
There’s that much speculation, rumour, opinion etc flying about to say yours is as good as anybody’s. Fwiw my tuppence is that the whole Super League thing never went away. The latest was The Glazer’s basically being hounded to sell their cash cow and FSG announcing they wanted to sell Liverpool. Something they changed on the Sunday before Monday’s announcement. In short I think it’s a desperate act on the part of The Premier League. They didn’t even get some of their rule references correct. I think this much bigger than the agenda against us. This will play out again to be a fight for our English football pyramid. For all its faults it supports four professional divisions and an excellent non league scene. The G14, The Premier League, PGMOL, UEFA and FIFA could between them kill our game.In general I don't disagree with this, but to be fair..something has come out, hasn't it?
First we had the Der Spiegel leaks, which of course the club says were misquoted and taken out of context (very possible, but I don't think we know the full picture) and then there's the very real possibility that the PL have had information from a whistleblower.
There's also the separate question of how widespread the conspiracy would actually need to be here. I'm not sure it's as wide as some are saying.
Of course this is going to be extremely difficult for the PL to prove, and the inherent implausibility will be a big part of City's defence. But we must admit the possibility that the PL do have some good evidence. I think that even if they were pressured into taking this action (and again that's very possible), it seems very unlikely they'd do so without a respectable basis. Personally, while I do think on balance City are more likely to be successful, I'd be surprised if the PL don't have a respectable case.
For what it's worth I say this as an experienced professional in an adjacent field who has investigated and litigated fraud and misrep cases of this magnitude.
