PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

And this is why I am baffled, why would we need to supposedly inflate sponsorship when we could have just asked the owner for a loan of £100 million.
Because UEFA have capped owner contributions toward the playing squad & we can only have a loan from a commercial FSC registered lender.

This begs the question about the recently written off Leicester & Chelsea loans... \0/

Absolutely impossible for so many reasons not the least of which is the investment business relationship between our owners and the UK government. Does anyone really believe the UK will allow these extremely beneficial relations to collapse over the bogus complaints of some fucking spoiled, self serving football clubs? Not happening, not on this planet...
Also, what are the requirements needed for the gov't to appoint an oversight body? It's obviously not up to the PL themselves...

I suspect you may be right and sincerely hope so. I looked up why and when the gvmt would impose regulation and the words are a slam dunk in favour of them getting off their arses with the PL. The blurb says…….and I’ve not bolted out the key sentence for us

What justifies government regulation?

The first justification is the standard, well-accepted idea that government may intervene to prevent harm to others or punish individuals for inflicting harm. The second justification supports government action to protect the health and safety of those who are incapable of safeguarding their own interests.

Lets wait for this White Paper and see. Of course the timing from White Paper to landing a result is as long as a piece of string.

Enjoy an ale tonight and toast the Bees.

I’d say fork in the sugar bowl club need looking at Pam , how did they ever wangle themselves into the big “six?” A club who last won the title in 62 - six season’s previous to our last one in the old format ? Delusions of grandeur springs to mind. I hate spurs !
So true, they've never been bigger than City, not before the PL rolled around and not in the PL era. They broke into the top 4 around the same time we did. Spent most of the 90s and early 00s as a mid table club. Fair enough they didn't have as bad a 90s as City did, but that's not much an achievement.

Yet, they pushed Pochetino to give soundbites such as "Spurs are a bigger club than City"(Who does that btw? Not even the big sly 3 clubs are that desperate) while Pellers was manager I seem to remember. Some of their fans talk as though they were as big and successful as Arsenal and need to get back there. I find some aspects of that club very bizarre. They should view the big sly 3 like City fans do and even Chelsea fans do. Instead they seem to have deluded themselves enough, to give themselves the same entitlement complex that the big sly 3 have, without any justification for it. They think they are part of their crew rather than the one desperately trying to tag along, seeking validation and approval all the time.

Oh my God, I am getting angrier and angrier about the duplicity and double standards of the football authorities; the toxic tabloid media and the green-eyed, agenda peddling, hypocritical wank fest that's been going on amongst the fans of our rivals. "Hatred" is a strong word, only to be used in the most extreme of circumstances. But in this case, it's not strong enough. Makes me sick to my stomach. CTID!
Pep perked me up Pam , I was ready for throwing to towel in until his presser - we all need to stick together, this manager we have is by far the greatest in my opinion- love the guy !

Couldn’t describe it better myself mate !

Sorry to keep saying this but this hatred will not change no matter what we prove on field or off field or even in Court.
We are ostracised permenantly.

It is like arguing against a flat earth society member who refuses to accept evidence. The media sell views of news that they brain wash their gullible subscribers with.

They have developed a cult of followers.
I agree, that's why I said embrace it. Like you said... The hatred won't change.

Loans still count as owner investment, FFP allows for a certain level of owner investment but it’s only about £30m per season, or over three seasons - can’t remember which
So how does that work for Todd Boehly and US investment firm Clearlake Capital who have arranged a £500m loan and a revolving credit facility of around £300m.

Goosebumps of a goal ! Sat there with my red and black failsworth school tie on because I didn’t have a City scarf ! I hate spurs , and hope City find some shit on them !!!
Can't even begin to count the number of times I was given the cane or strap for not wearing that tie.

Levy needs to ask his mates at the red histree clubs to gang up on another 5 clubs and get them banned. Then Spurs might qualify for the Champions League.

Another 10 clubs banned and Spurs might win something.

Pathetic.

They have a credit facility but doesn’t mean they have drawn on it yet.

It may also be a loan on commercial terms with a third party, like United have when the Glazers bought the club, all allowed under FFP

If it’s an owner loan they will only be able to use the set amount per season allowed under FFP, If they make a loss this season

Love the tag along analogy!

The same club who deliberately made sure their new stadium had a slightly bigger capacity than The Emirates so they could brag about it.
The only club in the Premier league era to be found guilty of fraud.
Two faced, small time deluded spivs.
Fuck Off Spurs, Elvis was in the army last time you won the league.

Yeah, there's nowt like a steaming laundry where the sheets are full of shite and someone has the opportunity to ask questions.

"Could the chief exec explain why MCFC were fined for invading the pitch at the end of the Villa game, and was this 'punishment' the same one meted out when a PL game had to be abandoned at OT?"
And is that the reason we play away on the last game of the season. At one of the smallest capacity grounds in the league.
