Wish I didn't have to be so gracious in victory because fucking hell it feels good to be vindicated about Jack. Our best player since coming back from the World Cup. Our second best player this season, maybe third behind Rodri. Thread's been verrrrrry fucking quiet recently. Lots of people just too embarrassed to admit they were wrong about him.
 
Very good tonight and capped a fine performance with a decent goal. Jack deserves praise for his efforts since his return from the WC and the way he is playing he is becoming undroppable.
 
Loved him taking the shot early-too often he takes too many touches. Starting to contribute more and more.
 
That was the reaction of a player who just wants to be seen as useful in the eyes of the supporters.
Wants to be seen to make an effective contribution to the success of the club.
Wants to be seen as a Manchester City Player.
 
So happy for him to score such an important one. Could see what it meant to him...

He was lucky though with the little deflection and he should defo learn from that he should just make his decision quicker and on the 1st touch to give defence a chance to make mistakes.
Hope he grows in confidence and does it again.

His workrate in defence is great btw.

I wonder what that gobshite Simon Jordan is going to have to say for himself about Grealish tomorrow?

Not a lot, I would imagine.

Grealish has been subject to a concerted campaign of hate and bitterness since he’s joined - ultimately driven by jealousy- and so it’s even sweeter to see him showing everyone what a good player he is now.
 
Decent performance again. Edging ever closer to where I feel he can get to now. Adding goals in some big away games too.

Looked like his hip was causing him trouble, rather than a knee I think.

It seemed to me that he was suggesting an impact injury to the physio on his way off the pitch, so hopefully just a bruise.

Really pleased he got the goal to top off his performance tonight. The performances are starting to rack up.
 
Goal apart his game was good. Give that right back a nightmare. Tomi was so shaky. Jack chased him back and he gave the ball away to KDB which was our first goal. Offer to receive the ball to release the pressure every time. Defensively great and also like a beast going. Forward. Give that twat ref a lot of f word and I like that!

Yea when he says 'fucking' it's a bit of a give away!

So glad he got a goal. Been brilliant post world cup and looking like he belongs here now. Just hope he keeps it up
