Players who might improve us

I'd say that it's our system that has to grow into Haaland if we're going to get the very best out of him.

To do that, we need to be much quicker and a lot smarter. That will take time and money. Time waits for no man - Real Madrid will be waiting at the door to pick Haaland up as soon as Benzema leaves and our plans will have to be reviewed again.

Kane would have slotted perfectly into our already successful system alongside Alvarez. He still would imo, and I'd love to see us make a move for him in the summer window.

As I recall, a lot of people here said that about Jack Grealish when we were in for him. As it turns out, he's now thought to be one of the best players in the team as far as how he treats others. Always seems to have a smile and has time for anyone and everyone.

I never thought Grealish was a wanker, always seemed alright, Martinez was a sore winner and his unsportsman like conduct makes him an utter prick

I didn't say you thought Grealish was an arsehole. It was, however, a popular opinion here at the time.

You may well be correct regarding Martinez's personality. That said, I doubt many people here would want to be universally judged by two poor decisions they've made.

In terms of keepers Alexander Nübel is the one we should be going all out for, but with Neuer injured and acting out a bit lately I guess that ship has sailed. Maignan is another interesting one

I do wonder if Mancini didn't bring the worst out of Carlos? Ireland said, if it weren't for Mancini, he would have wanted to stay at City. I've also read that Tevez and Mancini would be throwing punches towards each other about once a week.

Mancini was a bell end,Tevez wasn't for accepting it.
