Not everyone travels that way you dicksAn expanded Residents' Parking Scheme and improvements to the Metrolink are currently being implemented.
All new facilities would support Manchester's Net Zero by 2038 target, with measures being looked at to support walking and cycling links with the city centre.
Wasn't feasible. Easy way out.![]()
Feasibility studies for development of Etihad Stadium entertainment destination are underway
Manchester City has today announced it is undertaking feasibility studies to develop a best-in-class fan experience and a year-round entertainment and leisure destination at the Etihad Stadium.www.mancity.com
Has this started/ended?

So apart from going to the cemetery no fucker will park there, genius!
When i drive I always park on Clayton lane. I park near the Bridge Inn pub and i used to have a pre match pint in there until it closed down at the end of last season. I still park there and sometimes I'll have a pint in the Victoria or not bother, and that's closing at the end of the season. Public transport to the stadium is absolutely crap and I think a lot of regulars will stop going to games when these parking restrictions come into place.
Sounds about right with how out of touch football clubs are with their fanbases. They want everyone to magically teleport to the game spend arse loads on food and booze then teleport out again without any mither.
It’s boomed too much, too quickly for the Council/govt to keep up with. There are currently too many people living in Manchester for what it can cope with.As more and more new housing developments are built around Eastlands, the parking situation will only get worse.
There are housing and apartments under construction near Ashburys Train Station. That’s where I normally park.
Manchester’s population is booming, especially in the city centre and in the outer fringes of the city centre into the inner suburbs.

Supporters Clubs should be looking at this and thinking ahead.Live round the corner myself
Not used for a couple of years
Join Failsworth supporters branch - unsure of price of coach certainly cheaper than car parks
No fucker at all will use them ever, if you do want to go to the cemetery in a car, you can actually drive in, no need to park on the road. Its complete and utter madness, to spend money on what is essentially a giant white elephant.
I love seeing the Mickey Spillane mini bus, always makes me smile.Supporters Clubs should be looking at this and thinking ahead.
I’d suggest all Supporters Clubs start promoting themselves as much as possible with increased coach services from their branch to the Etihad for home games from when this comes in.
I thought you already knew that Phillips Park cemetery is the dead centre of Bradford.I have a dead body in the boot of my car, can I park in the cemetery if I just show that?
Dead handy at times.
No chance Burnham would gave stuck to vans, he's like that other shitehawk in London. Cars are seen as a cash cow.ULEZ didn’t affect cars so it would.
You can see it on Google maps. Goes from Ashburys past the ground and loops out before turning back and joining the lines in to Victoria. Plenty of space where you could build a station but given our fked rail system in the UK the chances of that being sorted and trains to the ground are nil.
I assume you mean the Philips Park Cemetery, if so all unrestricted parking will disappear, to be replaced with parking bays that allow you to park for a maximum of 90 minutes, ive attached the map for you.
The changes around Riverpark Road are complete and utter madness, they are creating parking bays with a maximum stay of 90 minutes that are never ever going to be utilised. It baggers belief it really does.......
How much is the return trip on the tram if you don't mind ne asking pleaseDump the car at Ashton park and ride. If the car park is full, there's a retail park across the road. Hop on the tram. It takes 20 minutes to the ground. No running the gauntlet or driving around like a loon trying to dump the car. It's the same on the way back. 20 mins to the car you are on the M60 and away before most people have even got half a mile from the stadium.
People who happily sit in traffic for an hour before and after every game are either really lazy or just enjoy misery.
That journey goes through zone 3+2 ,so an off peak (ie after 9.30am weekdays and all day weekends and bank holidays) is currently £3.10 return. Best paid by tapping in and out with a contactless card or smart phone. How much is the return trip on the tram if you don't mind ne asking please
The guy we use for Wembley earns £2,000+ a year for events parkingAny local with a parking permit or free driveway can list their parking space on a site like parking.com or justpark (whatever the current names are) and make a few bob from the driving punters.
I've been using such sites for trips to Wembley since 2011.
I'm well aware this doesn't help those who currently park for free.
