PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That’s the most credible scenario. Etihad are state owned and funded so Sheikh Mohammed would be the person to authorise funding I would guess.
Nail on the head.

Of course, all those dickheads accusing us of financial skulduggery are the same dickheads who claim City are state-owned and funded so if that were the case it wouldn't have mattered if SM provided the funds!

This is gonna end sooner than we think :)

We are ready to go. On our terms. Want to put it to bed, once and for all.

The only way I see it ending soon is a major climb down by the PL with us maybe accepting the non-cooperation charges and taking a relatively minor pinch on that.

Are you sensing the PL don’t have the appetite for the fight they picked?

I think people really need to drop this idea that City "will go on the attack".

They won't, if they were going to it would have been better doing so before the clubs name was reputationally damaged.

I think the sudden silence from the PL and media about this suggests we have very much gone on the attack here.

I see that fat slug Tebas is spouting his shite about us again
This morning - on a search nothing to do with CITY and FFP - I came across the video in this link:

Disgraceful that this fella is allowed to make such statements as "we know they have breached a 100 articles" as if it is established fact - and without any challenge

I am one of those that do worry that the campaign from the old history clubs will bring too much pressure on the PL and they will be forced to act - especially because of the limited right to appeal for CITY

It really wasn't, as the document used in the Open Skies case pointed towards 'HH' potentially being Sheikh Mohammed, or at least one of the senior members of the royal court that deal with financial stuff. And I'm sure that latter one was correct.

Having read the Open Skies document (all 400+ pages of it due time and OCD in lockdown:) this is a red herring. Sheikh Mohammed was mentioned but not in the context you are alluding to there and nor was any other HH in reference to City.

I believe you 100% but I just not see how the pl are going to cope once it's been proven the charges were bollocks. And the pl acted only to please the American owned clubs.

I was wondering exactly that. Its gone from a frenzy and mentioned at every possible moment by the media to a sudden blackout on it apart from the usual suspects.

I think they'll hit us with non-cooperation and levy a fine. If the rags and/or dippers or Spurs are sold then the PL ownership profile will change and they may use that as an excuse to change tack.
If the PL look like losing they may also just pass everything over to the independent football regulator and declare the case is of interest to English football as a whole rather than the PL, even though it's PL rules (I believe) we are alleged to have broken.

I see the fat twat from Spain, Tebas, has been sticking his nose into our affairs again. Saying that it is taking too long stating that we all know they are guilty of over a 100 charges. He doesn't want to hear our side, he admitted that, he wants us banned now. What a nasty piece of work he his.
Beyond the pale.
