gesture politics - announcements throwing red meat to their base but nothing set in stone. I guarantee even if they go full course to the next GE none of this will materialise

She knows exactly what she's doing with this policy and the language she uses.

She knows it's not workable and will be amended heavily in the lords and by the courts.

All for riling up the far right which has now sadly become the conservative party's base.
Absolutely right.
The shameless stoking of class and culture wars, the use of terms like ‘activist blob, lefty lawyers, enemies of the people’ and of course including the Labour Party in that group, all aimed at fomenting civil unrest and creating the ‘enemy within’.
It‘s all they have left and they are going to exploit it to the full.

They want the courts and human rights lawyers to block them so they can use it to stoke their war on the human rights act.

She even admits it

Something needs to be done, there are a ridiculous amount of people coming in illegally.
What is your ridiculous number?
What do you think needs to be done?
Do you know what the legal routes to claiming asylum are?
Do you support UK nationals choosing to move abroad?

Fortunately you wont get your wish, immigration needs to be controlled, the government are getting it wrong but something needs to be done.
Open legal routes. Properly fund the service. Process existing claims. Fulfil your legal obligations. It really isn't that difficult.

At the same time, recognise that a growing population is an excellent opportunity for economic growth. Properly invest in public services by using the economic growth delivered. Close tax avoidance loopholes to invest in health and education. Join with other nations in a cross-border tax rate for internet based multi-nationals.

There are 5.5m UK nationals living abroad. We are NOT in a position to whinge about migrant issues, other than the desperately poor and shameful way that the government is dealing with them.

Former chancellor throws £70billion from the public purse onto a bonfire; the ashes are swept under the carpet.

Family of desperate Syrians seeks refuge in a poxy hotel room; send them back, they are the root cause of all our country's ills.

How sad the gammony, closeted racists are. Such snowflakes.
