Bad sign at the toss when Buttler moaned about the toss and not yet winning one! It’s a big deal for Bangladesh this series for England it’s just another 20/20 series against lower team! It’s about 20/20 World Cup and 50 over World Cup now all these games are just a bit of fun!

Test match for me where it’s at! India battered really well after the Aussies got 480! Kohli with a big score when it matters too..

Seems to me that football and cricket professional sportsmen are playing far too much……to the detriment of their games in order to make more ££$$ for the TV companies……
Franchise cricket is where the money is at now and Test cricket is dying a slow death.

Test cricket is still the best format of the game but unless England, India or Australia are playing the public just isn't interested.

Watched 30 mins of South Africa vs West Indies yesterday and there was probably no more than 1000 spectators at the ground. Compare this to India vs Australia this morning and the ground was pretty much full.

The Ashes is sold out but The ICC have put all their eggs in one basket with the one day game they have neglected Test Cricket and just don't know how to make Test Cricket popular again.

Michael Holding saw this coming about 10 years ago and called The ICC out on this but they did absolutely nothing

Kane Williamson is a great player and coming back into form. Thought he was a great Captain as well, showed a lot of dignity when NZ lost to England at Lords in the 50 over final

winning a test with a bye off the last ball can't happen often, with an injured batsman and a direct hit being a fraction too late for SL.

100 for 1, 123 for 5, all too familiar for England’s batters. I know we are far from full strength but Bangladesh have batted bowled and fielded so much better than us, again

Piss poor leadership from Buttler getting run out first ball after Malan got out. Fuck me we needed 8 an over a few mins ago, now we need 27 off the last over!!

cold and windy with a bit of snow in the air - 22 days until the County Championship starts - doesn't bloody feel like it lol

Random thing popped up on facebook:

Greg Chappell:
“In my second season with South Australia I happened to be near the exit while shadow batting as Bradman was leaving. He stopped and pointed at my top hand and said, ‘I’d change that grip if I were you’. I was a bit taken aback but said: ‘What would you suggest?’ He replied, ‘The grip I used worked pretty well, you can read about it in my book’. I told him I didn’t have his book right there and shoved the handle of my bat into his midriff saying, ‘Show me’.
“He showed me his grip with the ‘V’ of the thumb and forefinger down the splice of the bat, slightly to the off-side of neutral. He said, ‘This will feel a bit strange because you haven’t done it before but I recommend that you persevere because it will improve your off-side play’. I thanked him and he turned to go. Then he stopped and said: ‘By the way, I’ve only given this piece of advice to one other person, he didn’t take it and he is no longer in the team.’ Then he walked out! It was a very important piece of advice.”

When the greatest batsman to play the game offers advice, it's probably wise to listen.
