General Videogame Thread

What are you playing it on and why is it so good? Might have to invest.

Series X. Handles absolutely brilliantly, AI is spot on, gunplay is superb, graphically best game I've played, stays true enough to the original whilst finding it's own path.

They've absolutely knocked it out of the park best game I've played in a very very long time.

Never been so fucking happy for International break!

Elden ring after month playing I thought was the best game I’ve played but after finishing it and doing second run of the game, I’m not interested in playing it again! Unlike dark souls two which I must of played for years and all up to NG+54 or something!

Now Wo Long got my full attention and the jury is still out looks promising though..
How's Wo Long going mate?

Have you played the remakes for 2 and 3? Tempted to get them all

They’re all worth playing. 2 is especially brilliant.

Not sure if you played the original but you can play as Leon or Claire. When you finish the game with the first character of your choice, you unlock a ‘2nd run’ which lets you play as the character you didn’t choose but from a different perspective and thus leading you to the full ending scenario.

For the PC lot Microprose seem to have made a return, they're redoing their old B-17 series. Just got their 'highfleet' an FTL on crack strategy affair with old school aesthetic 2d shooter sections that is very promising so far, definitely a game you could seem them making in their heyday. And just like old times comes with a 48 page manual.

Cheers for that, been looking forward to the B-17 games but didn't know about Highfleet. I've somehow now watched about 10 hours of a playthrough over the past 48 hours when I should have been working :P
