We all did haha.

I was at that match and it was one of those rare occasions where the home and away end applaud the same player. I don't particularly remember much mither, it all seemed pretty good natured which was nice.

I suppose he is respected in the organisation for his playing career, but how many players there know anything good about working with him? If they couldn't work for Potter, why will they with Lampard?

Just seems to me it's all a bit of a panic.

But what do I know? CL favourites for me now :)

By what metric is Potter a better coach than Lampard? Lampard had a 64% win rate during his time at Chelsea. Potter had 27%.

Was that the game Diego Costa got Zabaleta sent off with his shithouse shenanigans? That guy was a menace. I totally get why everyone hated him but man I loved him :)
 
Here’s how it’ll pan out:

- serious purple patch between now and the end of the season
- a few people get giddy and go a bit overboard, including Todd, who gives Frank one of his 10 year contracts
- Todd gives it large in the transfer window over summer and buy loads of players that he likes the look of, without consulting anyone else
- next season starts so-so before a catastrophic run of form around the festive period sees them rooted to the bottom of the table
- Frank gets sacked and paid off on his 10 year contract, Potter comes in as caretaker til the end of the season

I actually think the chances are, all but the last point above will happen.

Boehly has been a disaster for that club. But it makes for a good watch for anyone who doesn’t support Chelsea, I guess.
