We all did haha. Will never forget when Pelegrini called him off the bench with 15 minutes to go and we were winning 1-0 at the Etihad. I just knew he would score. But hey, I was in the away end that day and we spent ages after the game serenading him.
Is that Kante in the background?I for one wish the City legend all the best.
But normally these caretakers are already at the clubHe's a caretaker! Spurs have Ryan Mason, we had Kiddo who'd not managed for 20 years.

Can't break the rules of a competition you don't enter.**** Runs off to find the Swiss Ramble analysis where he concludes all bets are off if they don't make CL next year.
I am just confused by it all. The only way it makes sense to me is if it's a hail Mary for the CL, but then why appoint Lampard? I guess you would agree Potter is a better coach then Lampard and his dismal coaching record. If Potter couldn't do it, why will Lampard be able to?
I suppose he is respected in the organisation for his playing career, but how many players there know anything good about working with him? If they couldn't work for Potter, why will they with Lampard?
Just seems to me it's all a bit of a panic.
But what do I know? CL favourites for me now :)
We all did haha.
I was at that match and it was one of those rare occasions where the home and away end applaud the same player. I don't particularly remember much mither, it all seemed pretty good natured which was nice.
By what metric is Potter a better coach than Lampard? Lampard had a 64% win rate during his time at Chelsea. Potter had 27%.

I see they only let you play with crayons…
Said no PL chairman ever. There is no point in rushing the decision and just picking a guy because he happens to be available.
