it's fine, and hardly one to get so mardy about. The Centurion name, if true, is shit.
Dummy well and truly spat out, along with the toys.
Lets hope so. SSL3 is terrible so lets hope lessons have been learned. One thing for sure when it’s completed, it will look fantastic. The elevation and steepness will look superb and at last a proper home end, with great facilities around outside. Can’t wait.
I appreciate being in my 50s warps my view but if Arsenal had the invincibles stand I'd think it was all a bit needy and crass on the marketing front.Centurions doesn’t recognise a single goal, a single player or a single trophy.
It recognises a previously never achieved record over 38 games, 50 points home and away by the greatest team of the modern era.
It is a record achievement worth creating a legacy from for current and future generations.
It may be surpassed ( probably by us ) but we did it first.
#thecenturiansstand.
Maybe when you reach 60 like me you'll care less.I appreciate being in my 50s warps my view but if Arsenal had the invincibles stand I'd think it was all a bit needy and crass on the marketing front.
Only to be topped by naming a stand after some roman soldiers.
It smacks of BTEC Marketing students being given the prize to name a stand. Apart from anything else 4 syllables is too many for a good name.....that's primary school basic.....but like I said I'm old and know I've not got great tolerance these days:)

I hope so. Although this is less about caring and more about friendly arguments whilst I'm a bit bored and being on here means I avoid doing jobs.Maybe when you reach 60 like me you'll care less.
This sums it up perfectly for me.It has always been the “official” nickname, if that isn’t an oxymoron but it seems to work the exact opposite way of most nicknames.
They usually come about purely through common usage and then get adopted as official.
With City it seems like we’ve always been told that’s our nickname for some reason but nobody actually ever uses it as such.
I honestly don’t think I have ever heard a single person shout…. Come on you Citizens.

Forge Lane End?Personally I would prefer a nod to the industry that once stood on the site, an area that is slowly disappearing from memory. Something like Colliery End or Bradford Road End. I’m not much of a fan of naming stands after players or managers, and Centurions is just going to get people thinking it’s about Romans.

Aguero was seismic globally. Think it deserves it personally.Centurions End is a bit risque! , also seems like an idea from 'marketing' aguero stand would be good , but what about the great moments to come at that end
I would say The Kippax as a nod to our previous existence pre sheikhy boss man
Maybe when he's in his 70s he'll understand....there's time yet for youth to flower into wisdom !!Maybe when you reach 60 like me you'll care less.
