The Conservative Party

Greg Hands doing the rounds...... badly ..... given the surname its laughable that he was caught today with crib notes written on the palms of his hands

Lefty liberals are still a world away from the corrupt failed Tories
I get it’s not ideal for you principally but after 13 years of Tories to think you won’t bother voting and run the risk of further Tory power is so so blindsided
Rascals non vote could win it for the Tories?

Really? Haha

That's it though, isn't it?

"What's on the menu?"

"We had the socialist scallops, but they're out of season. There's only the leftie lobster, or the Tory turbot, but that's gone off. You can still have that, or the lobster, or sit outside wondering why you're hungry."

The post wasn't an overall picture it was about one guys vote. You, me and Rascal know his vote will not affect anything. So why would he vote for Labour if he has a problem with them/starmer? There is no need.

I'm voting Green I know they ain't gonna get anywhere certainly not where I live but it doesn't matter.

If my vote had the power to lose the tories the election but only if I had to vote Labour then i would do it.

But as none of us are in that position and we know people will do what they will do we don't have to vote tactically as an individual.

If Rascal votes Labour he is in effect giving Starmer his consent/support. He would be mad to do so.

It's highly unlikely that any one vote will make a difference. No point anyone voting then?

Is this now official Tory tactics? Abolish the Reform Acts?

"The county of Yorkshire, which contains near a million souls, sends two county members; and so does the county of Rutland which contains not a hundredth part of that number. The town of Old Sarum, which contains not three houses, sends two members; and the town of Manchester, which contains upwards of sixty thousand souls, is not admitted to send any"

(Thomas Paine, Rights of Man)

You know others will vote that is the whole point. Its really not difficult. Unless you can show how one person's vote can change a general election which you can't then the rest is just deflective nonsense.

To paraphrase the original poster he said that a single poster not voting for Labour could mean the tories staying in power. That is simply not true, you just won't admit it he was wrong. Whether that is because you are a Labour party member or just don't like admitting being wrong I have no idea.

I will leave you and Starmer to it as you both appear to be made out of the same stuff.

What he’s saying is that we need to forget about the shit-show they have brought upon us and focus on the local stuff.

Wonder what he could focus us on other than the shit-show in the local areas?

Our MP campaigning on behalf of local Conservatives has gone from shouting "freeports" as his only answer to "potholes" - I guess he cannot even see how that illustrates how his party have diminished the country and its ambitions

Manager comes out of the dressing room having told the players the club is fucked

They are doing what they did last year and prepping the public comms by setting the bar so low that they can’t fail to get over it.

First it’ll be “we will lose 1,000 seats” then “we will lose 1,500 seats” and so on until when the day comes and their woeful performance bears out they will point and say “What a great success! We expected to lose 2,000 seats but it was only 1,300! Hail Sunak!”

No idea what the OP was.

I hate the whataboutery, the allthesamery, the "perfect as the enemy of the good", and the betrayal of those who fought for the vote.

Will they delude themselves in thinking it’s some kind of victory? I would hope not but everything they have said they will deliver, they’ve tried to delude us into thinking that they have.

Worst government in my time, and that’s no delusion.

The answer to this is 100% yes.

I can promise to come back here in a month with ample quotes declaring the election a Tory success without even knowing the outcome.
