Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

Any bother with the sheff u fans today, the ones I know are great people so I'd imagine it was a fine atmosphere between both sets

Talking to Sheff supporters after the game they expected to lose, and were very complimentary about us.
They were complaining, as we were, about the staged ticket sales which meant groups of them at different loyalty levels couldn’t sit together.
They said they could only keep one of the loanees not both next year, due to PL rules, and all felt they should buy Doyle and loan McAtee given the choice.
Doyle def favourite from lads i spoke to. I reckon 6 x months extended loan rather than rash sale of a local lad with huge blue roots. Great if he kicked on and leap frogged Phillips tbf. McAtee back with us and re assess again in 6 x months - great to have 2 x more local lads n first team squad

If I’m honest, I don’t really enjoy the Wembley experience.I only went as my kids wanted to go.
The game was a bit shit, but with the big games coming thick and fast, it was important just to win, and we managed to rest a few, so happy with that overall.

On the train home now. Awooooo!

I completely agree - prob watch the final at home with the family and have a better day

Yes, fuck them. Most teams other fans are, I put it down to the relentless media campaign against us. The only other fans I've got time for are Sunderland and Watford. A nice touch by Southampton fans doing the Poznan last night though.
Yeah, just seen that on motd, good on 'em!

The crowd was interesting, lead to believe Sheff U had sold loads and we struggled to shift em.

Their end was empty, loads of gaps, empty sections yet ours seem to be full and seats sold in all sections!
I didn't thing the difference was that big, though they had a few large unsold sections.
Other than booing Grealish and a couple of unintelligible ditties, they seemed to save their energy for singing about going up, but they only did that when 3-0 down.

Same clowns will be cheering for him when he puts on an England shirt!
Oh and they had large sections of empty seats!9BC97500-DA44-4703-AC7E-2AFC99069932.jpeg
