Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

Will there be a fanzone thing at The Etihad for the final? We are at the arctic monkeys gig at the proper Old Trafford the night before so can't see me being in a fit state for a coach trip annoyingly
Last final was a live screen over at the academy. So expect the same. CTID

Spotted the Goat in Corley services on the way back, and Dickov in the Hilton before the game. The spirit of '99 blessing a good day.

Good atmosphere in the ground and a great game. Thought Sheffield Untied tried to go for it but our midfield and forward presss dictated the play. That early save from Ortega was crucial. Mahrez has gone from over criticised to dependable, in recent seasons. Pleased he can stand out.

Some media hounds will be critical of our crowd number, new international support blah, blah, but to spend that kind of money, time and efforts to go to Wembley for a semi that should be at a neutral northern venue speaks volumes. Proud to be a blue.

we cant of been only blues in traffic it was flick of a coin to go or turn back but these day's im not great a stress
It was fucking horrendous, even worse near wembley, last time I drive there, going to book outside wembley for the final and get tube in. Just not worth the stress.

To be honest the behaviour on our side of the ground before that game wasn’t much better. Any united coach going past was absolutely pelted with cans outside the Greyhound. It would certainly be a moody day against them which is a shame when there are so many kids and families at the games now.
I moved away from the greyhound when a so called Blue threw a bottle and caused a horrific injury to a fellow Blue.

That's absolutely true, no one should go to a match and worry about assaults of any kind. Going home upset because of a result is acceptable but not because of anything else.

Sick of seeing smirking reds sniggering at the turn out.

Regardless of how many we took the fact that sheff U took less (big day out, doing well in the championship, playing the champs, get very decent home crowds in a high population city etc etc etc) spells out in huge letters that football fans are being priced out of these games.

Working mans sport no longer and with a cost of living crisis people make choices

Yes. Bit problem is it’s not just them we have to play it’s the bent fucks officiating and whatnot we have to win against.

Is that just as likely with Brighton? Not sure. Harder game perhaps but perhaps less bias?

Also- If we don’t win I’d rather lose to Brighton than the rag shits.
I think Brighton fans might have their own opinions about bent officiating considering some of these decisions that have gone against them this season

Ignore the cunts. Are the ones smirking actually going? They have 700 million fans apparently (and they are all cunts) which means 99.995% of their fans won’t be there today. How shit is that? Cunts

On five live they chatted to a City fan it cost around £400 all in for the day for him and his son, they didn’t have a clue these commentators, £25 for fish and chips at Wembley they nearly fell off their chairs. They were slagging off all the empty corporate seats and how the semis shouldn’t be at Wembley especially as it was two northern teams. They had nothing but praise for the fans but like others they have no idea what prices really are.

Typical pundits, enjoy sneering at fans while sat there getting paid handsomely to do so.
