If we did end up beating United to win the Treble it would be glorious. But I wouldn’t enjoy the day out at Wembley for the FA Cup final if we played United. I’d be too angry and nervous and constantly battling all day between the want to have a fight and making sure I don’t have a fight.

Exactly this. I remember seeing a Grandad (must have been 70 if not a day) being punched by one of their feral fans in front of his Grandson at the coach park after the semi final.

City fans were inexperienced then...New to Wembley and the potential flash points.
