SS3 is great value.I am in block 131 and it has gone up £50.00. I am going to renew and re-locate to a cheaper seat. Might try pitch-side and invest in water-proof clothing.

Qualifying criteria last season was having a membership, qualifying criteria for Madrid tickets was having a membership, which next year will have their highest subscription numbers yet….I think we know where this is goingWho knows? But I don’t think I’ve ever seen them indicate there is qualifying criteria for anything and then there wasn’t
Gone up £50 = 5 per month. Can't say I it's a hill to die on for me. £1.25 per week and probably still amongst the cheapest season tickets in the PL to watch the best football and best team, but I get it still irks some people. A mate pays £600 for his Preston season ticket. Believe me, he would love to see & experience what I do for an extra £165 per year / £4 per week..
I guess it makes financial sense for the club and may appeal to some supporters but not all obviously.I’ve said it before but I honestly think new full season tickets are a thing of the past. Silver might remain an option, but the club want to sell seats individually, for the big games at least.
If there is silver season tickets left to sell at the end of the renewal period they will put whatever is left on sale to match day member. Is there a season ticket waiting list? Supposedly you go onto it when you’re a Cityzen member. My son has never been given any details on this whatsoever, how many people are on it, will there ever be any benefit to being on it etc.
Not me fella. Never made a comment on this or any city forum about my season ticket price in the 30 years I have had one never mind the last 10 years. Football isn't cheap, that's just the reality and choice people make as to whether they choose to attend or notThat same argument that you’ve made has been repeated pretty much every season for the last 10 years. Ticket prices have gone up massively over that time.
The club will probably love that you’re trying to justify it. No doubt when they increase it every year for the next 5 you’ll still try and defend it
There are a tiny number of cheap seats in ss3. Those tickets are being used to to highlight how cheap our tickets are. Reality is most of our season ticket and match day prices aren’t cheap
How much was an average adult season ticket in 2013?That same argument that you’ve made has been repeated pretty much every season for the last 10 years. Ticket prices have gone up massively over that time.

Great stuff, so not only do my 5K points no longer matter for home games, I also can’t get my proper season ticket back. What is going on at the momentI doubt there will be any “qualifying criteria”.
Doesn’t mention anything about new Silvers. It says existing season ticket holders can apply to downgrade to Silver.
Only of mention of completely new season tickets is:

No mention if they may be silver or regular.
I could well be wrong Haz, just my take on the current situation.Great stuff, so not only do my 5K points no longer matter for home games, I also can’t get my proper season ticket back. What is going on at the moment
With any logic (not that the ticket office use any of course) they will have to be Silvers. Unless they give current Silver holders a window to upgrade after renewals before listing new Golds to everybody else. There'd quite rightly be discontent if new Gold ones were handed out fresh when Silver holders weren't allowed to upgrade.
This is my take too. When they've looked at the sizeable attendances and loyalty of previous years (including watching shit in the 3rd tier) they've thought surely they'd be happy to pay x and have a successful team if they were happy paying x for watching complete and utter dross. Unfortunately it isn't simple maths and doesnt just work like that.
It's almost like the working class 'legacy' fan is a make-weight until they can be fully replaced by a day tripper.
We have Hank Marvin on the gate! times must be hard for everyone you'd have thought cliff would have helped him out.We regularly took in our food from the City Chippy.. one of the lads on the gate once said to our kid “I’m gonna have to take your food off you”.. “You can try” he said.. Turns out the lad was Hank Marvin and hadn’t been told to take food off people :-D
Sadly, you are probably correct!Does anyone know anything about getting a gold season ticket this year.
Gave up my season ticket a few years ago and it feels like there’s no way back.
I think there was an assumption last year that Silvers would be given first dibs at any future Golds. But the club never actually said that and what they’re saying now makes that look unlikely.
But Silvers are still members so at worse, they should still be in with the same shout as a City card member, if any Golds do come up.
None of this matters to some people. In their eyes, as long as the team is winning then nobody should care. The club has already effectively replaced me. I decided a while back that I'm not renewing for 2023/24, and have used the ticket exchange more this season than any before.
Going to football isn't what it used to be. It's all geared up for the tourist trade, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that even existing season cards will only be available on the Silver basis within the next season or two, with the "big five or more" games being top price only, and offered to Silver holders for a short period in advance of being sold as part of tourist/hospitality packages.
It's all about the money. That's we'll be fronting the next move for a European Super League.
People are being priced out of the game, using drip, drip, drip increases.

So we can guarantee it will be Golds sold after all the Silvers have renewed then! With any logic (not that the ticket office use any of course) they will have to be Silvers.
