If people wanted to sing the anthem today because they respect or have admiration for the monarchy - good for them, go for it!

If people wanted to boo the anthem today because they hold the monarchy in disdain and are a bit peeved off by what they perceive as a sham of an 'event' taking place today when the country is on its arse - good for them too!

Don't see what all the fuss is about, those booing have as much right to voice protest as those who wish to pay respect.

If they don't want to sing it that's their choice, I have no problem with that. Its the booing that annoys me. That is just disrespectful.

They don't agree with what? Marking respect for people's death is a very different thing to sticking an expensive crown on a very rich man and telling the whole country to enjoy it.

It’s their right to disrespect the royal family but it’s simply rude to disrespect their fellow fans who want to sing the national anthem without a chorus of boos drowning out the music.

My feelings for royalty aren't good, that's my choice....what I'll not do is force that or be disrespectful to others who are pro monarchy....I sat down during the God Save stuff, I wasn't in my own but nobody I could see was making any anti royal noise which is as it should be.

I Wonder if the same people getting all worked up and frothing at the mouth over the booing of the anthem, feel as strongly about our Prince being an actual paedophille rapist and our tax ££ being used by our queen to make it go away. A family of wealth and power who are above the common man and woman when it comes to the law.

I wouldnt personally boo the anthem but im not arsed in the slightest by people who do.

I find it kind of embarrassing that people would reduce themselves down to the level of a bootlicker just as an excuse to hate on another set of fans. I'm quite happy to laugh at Liverpool fans for being tediously high on their own sense of entitlement but if they want to treat the monarchy with the level of derision it deserves then fair fucks to them.

In what way? Not being flippant but i've not heard any reports of people who sang it being threatened or beaten up. If fans wished to sing the anthem they were free to do so, same as those who wished to boo it.

It's North Korea territory where the only voices which should be heard are those in support of the establishment. Everyone else stay quiet so we can show all the other countries how much we love our King...
