That Venicious Jnr terrifies me.

Just off the top of my head, he gifted Madrid their goal in the 18-19 tie at the Bernabeu, the 3-0 beatdown from Liverpool he was arguably responsible for both their goals bar the Oklade screamer from outside the box. I can't really remember the Tottenham tie that well but I know Laporte and Walker let Son run rampant.
I think there’s a stat where Walker has never made a direct mistake that led to a goal. It bet there’s not a single other player that can say that. Everyone makes mistakes, but Walker saves our bacon regularly.

I can only remember one in the CL (the red card in the dead rubber group game against Leipzig).

Other than that where it wasn’t even a big game, Walker has probably been City’s most consistent big game player I can ever remember.

All his other shit games or moments have come in games like Wigan away in the FA Cup, Palace at home in the league etc.
i have pointed that out to him already but didn't seem to make any difference

Long day, been up since 6:15. About 7ish tonight I'll start to flap. Draw will do fine.

While we've not been at our best over the last few games they've been terrible. If we step up like with munich we should take them apart. We should have rinsed them last year.

Morning blues! Today is the day we crush those pricks (i hope)

It's such a hard one to call. I'm nervous, as is usual with CL games. We've beaten them in three of the last four games. But we've only won one of our away CL games this season, the first group game against Sevilla and Real in the CL are just a different beast. Having said that, we've drawn the rest and I think being resilient away from home is fine, it would be good if we could try and score our penalties as that would have turned some of those draws to wins!

In La Liga they've only lost at home once, with several draws and they also lost at home to Barca in the Copa Del Rey semi final 1st leg so they're pretty solid. Their away form in general hasn't been great which is why I'm a lot more confident of our chances of progressing with the 2nd leg at home.

Fresh off winning the Copa Del Rey they'll be confident, but that wasn't an easy game so if we show the right energy levels and commitment we could punish them.

I'd be setting up to be defensively solid and looking to stop them scoring, knowing a draw gives us a big advantage at home next week. Play on the counter and look to stop them getting the ball into their midfield. Haaland had an off day against Leeds, if he gets a few chances tonight and takes them we'll have one foot in the final.

Real Madrid 1-3 City.

Behave you both! Madrid fans will be the ones waking up and worried about playing CITY....our time to add 'ol big ears' to the cabinet has come...... To be really honest I am more worried about the Toffees at the weekend.

They probably will. I think it’s fair for both sides to be wary of each other in games like this.

But games like this are exactly what it’s all about!
