Considering this summer is expected to be a big one with a few ins and outs, we aren't being linked with loads the way we have in the past.

There's Bellingham which now seems unlikely.

Kovatic, which seems likely and sensible considering Chelsea will be looking to offload players. But a bit underwhelming. Spoiled I know.

Gvardiol links gone very quiet and seems unlikely now since they've said he's not moving?

Any other links seem to be the odd mention on aggregators and then never get mentioned again. Are there any concrete links worth getting excited about? At the end of the day I trust the club at this point, but I do like a bit of giddy transfer speculation.

Yeah, less so the Spanish press, more so what I had assumed were more reliable German and British journos who joined in that spooked me.

Bellingham aside, my point stands - the links seem sparse considering the turnover rumoured.

No but it does become clearer who the club is interested in, as the season draws to a close. Targets are mentioned by Jack G, Martin Blackburn etc

So confused by the Gnoto hating, he’s shown plenty of potential and plays for his country at 18? He’s quick and explosive which is what we’re looking for, has some prem experience.

Name other young wingers who are right footed and quick and play for a top country at 18? Kvara and Leao just aren’t going to happen and Gnoto looks a lot better than a Nico Williams, it’s all well and good shitting on the idea but it’s unrealistic to sign established young wingers right now unless you want to spend £150 million. We’ve got to be smarter than spending £80 million on an Antony.
