This is what is worrying me. A small number of people buying them to make a quick buck. Or maybe I’m being too negative about people. One of my mates has sold his for £500 yesterday :(

That’s not the point. If you’re selling it to another blue, you don’t sell it for 300% more than you bought it for (more if it’s a £70 ticket).Whether he sold it for a pound or a million, the same number of tickets are left.
It’s about buying one and not buying it for you to attend. It’s one less for someone who wants to attend.Whether he sold it for a pound or a million, the same number of tickets are left.
The fact that it’s e-tickets means that anyone buying a ticket from a tout could easily be scammed due to a seller selling the same ticket to multiple people. That might cut down the amount of touting because of people being put off by the risk. If you’re spending £500 on a £70 ticket you’d want to be guaranteed it’s going to work, and getting that guarantee isn’t going to be easy if you don’t know the seller.Stuff like that’ll mean I’ll miss out

Keep it in the fucker then instead of looking for cash.Well that’s a different conversation. But assuming he’s buying it regardless, it’s a ticket that’s never staying in the pot.
I agree mate I was pretty annoyed as I've loads of other mates begging me.Any blues selling their ticket for more than face value is a bellend.
Oh I have lol. This is what's going to make it harder for the poor people not in cup schemes everybody gunna wanna make a few quid :(Tell him he’s a ****.
Not negative at all mate it's wrong selling tickets to make extra coin. This is what is worrying me. A small number of people buying them to make a quick buck. Or maybe I’m being too negative about people.
£500 is ridiculous. You can have mine for £499Stuff like that’ll mean I’ll miss out
Istanbul, hopefully. Regardless I'll have to pay it. Anyways, tomorrow to sweat on first. What makes you think the City end tickets will drop in price.demand is very high. CTID
Enjoy it while you can. I mean the freedom ...There will always be individual stories that can be quoted to support someone’s view on how it should or shouldn’t be done. Unfortunately there is no solution that will keep everyone happy so a compromise is required that suits most people, and that’s pretty much what we’ve got. There are going to be thousands of non-deserving people in the crowd who will have obtained tickets either from mates with points who aren’t going, through supporters clubs that sort out mates first, through knowing someone who does corporate and can get extra tickets or through touts. There is no way of policing it without giving out personalised tickets to everyone which require an ID check. That’s not practical so we’re stuck with a system that works for maybe 70% of people who go. Unfortunately there’s no practical alternative.
Last time I counted was 7am this morning and there were 10477 seats remaining
I think only between 18k to 20k were on sale..SC got probably 6000 and rest to corporate sponsors etcUnless I’m misunderstanding how is that possible? There surely aren’t 20,000 people on the cup scheme.
Maybe it’s 10,000 left from the tickets that went on sale
