Normally I moan like f**k if I feel City don't get top billing on BBC Sports news, and I'm no fan of Leeds Rugby ( Wigan fan ). Have to say though anyone who didn't have a tear in their eye watching Kevin Sinfield carry Rob Burrows over the finish line of the Leeds marathon has no soul. Good luck to you both fellas you are in my thoughts and prayers, and also to Robs wife and children. Everyone should have a friend like Kev.

It all stems from Mancini being paid by an Abu Dhabi company for work before he joined City.
This is conflated into ‘double wages’ and ‘off the books’ and has been ongoing for over a decade now.

Iirc What Mancini did/didn’t do for that Abu Dhabi company is moot, it was a job, he was paid. He then became City manager and got paid for that. End of.

This standard employee business practise of luckily having more than 1 legitimate paying job lined up, seems to fly by the foaming at the mouth vitriol.

And the conflating is then applied to all City players - ‘must have brown envelope double pay’, ‘why else should they go/stay there’, ‘dodgy finances’
… all the while forgetting that to accuse City of that, means accusing worldwide accountants, worldwide sponsors, lawyers, the management, the coaches, the players and the tea lady of being corrupt.

It’s farcical.
Indeed farcical. They’re becoming increasingly desperate and deranged and it’s wonderful to watch.
Anyone advancing or believing this “paid off the books” bollocks just means they’re self identifying as a total fucking idiot. You expect it with thick fuckers sat in their bedrooms, but one guy recently on Twitter was an MD at Accenture who really should know better ! I’d expect someone more senior at the firm would’ve “had a word” that acting like a thick twat on social media Is not a good look.

They are conspiracy theorists.

Great post, Kevin Sinfield is the man of the century, inspirational man, heart of a lion, dedication knows no bounds. His friendship and support of Rob Burrows is one of life’s biggest affirmation’s there’s more good than bad.

I’d love to put Kevin in a boxing ring with Putin who is the antithesis of Kevin, respect to that man and Rob & his family.

Yet again on 5 live last night arsenal fans saying we won it because of the money we spent, unchallenged by the pantomime dames savage and Sutton.

Just to be clear, in the 2 windows this season we spent £79m on the best striker on the planet, a World Cup winner and a superb defender. We got more than that back on sales to arsenal, not to mention Sterling, and all the youth players we sold.

I also remember seeing a post on here where someone detailed the net spend of every PL team over the last 5 years and we were I think THIRTEENTH! If possible could someone re-post that thread?

Also on the same show the myth was still being peddled about our squad size, again unchallenged by those two thick pillocks. I read the other week that we had played the least players of any PL team this season, just 18 - the next lowest was Palace at 21. We have a very small squad and are being incorrectly reported as having a large one. The FACT is that we buy well, and have done for over 10 years (Spanish Dave and Yaya £24m each etc) and have invested in the country’s best academy and manager.

The cunts need to start reporting facts and stop peddling lies

Keown thinks Tyler is biased against Arsenal and shouldn't commentate on their games in the future. Ha, the hypocrisy after the shit Mr Chimp churned out for BT on our game at the Emirates last season.
It’s strange, because to me it sounded like they were gutted when Brighton scored as they knew it was one of the final nails going into the coffin for an Arsenal title win, maybe I’m paranoid but I honestly do at times hear the glee when a team scores against us or the depressing tone if we score from the commentators..

Great post.

Paul Robinson on SSN has been fantastic. "Pep has excellently rotated a small squad to get the best out of them"."They are not tired even though they are playing twice a week as Pep has managed to keep the players at peak performance levels". "Rudiger did well against Haaland, but it was him and Alaba. In other words he occupied 2 defenders leaving space for other players". ........all sensible comments and not the usual drivel
