Might as well add the BBC to the list given that they completely failed to show or discuss the NAILED ON PENALTY on Haaland on MOTD.The one they played that he admitted they got wrong was a non obvious one that could be kind of forgiven. What about all the clearly corrupt ones?!
A stage managed whitewash, with rat boy and spitty complicit!!
Thats exactly what they're doing. Absolutely nothing will change...That was interesting but if they're not gonna play the decisions they completely fuck up then what's the point
Just seems like they're trying to pacify fans without actually giving them anything substantial
Neville even said he’d heard the conversations all ready this season. Wouldn’t surprise me if they get them all as it happens. It’s the bottom video right at the start.Fascinating, but long overdue, insight that. Would love to hear the referee communications more often.
But seeing Carragher and Neville lap it up as if they don’t hear the conversations every game was a tad embarrassing.
The Havertz handball was a VAR decision that was clearly obvious and it’s no surprise he hasn’t picked a more controversial one to dissect. They must think we’re fucking idiotsThis should be the clip they use to show how that twat made his decision
I am sure if Haaland had run blindly, without checking to see where Pickford was, and cleaned out the dirty punter, he would have been awarded a penalty for maintaining a “natural run”.From ESPN VAR Review : "This incident could have resulted in all three possible outcomes: a penalty to Man City, a free kick to Everton or play on. Referee Taylor chose the last option, and there isn't enough definitive evidence to say that was incorrect.
Pickford checks on Haaland's position, while Haaland looks at Pickford twice before stopping his movement toward the ball to block the goalkeeper's path. Pickford's arm catches Haaland as the keeper appears to reach for the dropping ball. Whether Pickford was trying to get to the ball or just to Haaland will be open to personal interpretation.
Had Haaland not looked at Pickford and continued his natural run to play the ball, there would have been a stronger case for a penalty; but both players were equally culpable in trying to "game" each other.
If Taylor had given the spot kick, it'd be unlikely to get overturned; whatever he decided on this wouldn't be clearly wrong."
This seems to intimate that Haaland shouldn't look at other players and that there is a "natural run". He was punched in the head. I don't see how anything else matters. The fact that the guy writing this suggests that a free kick to Everton was also a possibility is insane.
The lines are pointless.Only got the game on in the background tonight but know there were 2 VAR Checks on both goals. Did they bother putting the lines up at all?
So you're saying it's a WEBB of deceit then.....The incompetence and/or corruption within the body that regulates the sport is sinking ever deeper into a morass, a veritable quagmire of lies and deceit - and it's all their own doing. Erratic, inconsistent, and occasionally bordering on farcical is how I would sum up pgmol right now. Their lack of transparency means they are free to apply the rules as and when they see fit: never having to justify a decision, seemingly unaccountable for any of the monumental fuck-ups they make that could end up costing a relegated club millions and millions in revenue.
They appear to be an organisation that is beyond reproach, above the law, cleared of any responsibility before the game has even kicked off.
It is an utter disgrace what they have done to the game. Their closed-shop approach has pissed off many many people over the years: managers, players, media personnel, and of course us fans - without which the game would not exist.
At work, if you make a serious error of judgment that could jeopardise production in some way, or that might cause disruption to the workflow, your immediate superior in the chain of command would quite rightly haul you over the coals to ensure whatever it was is not repeated. But if the next day you do it again, and then again the following day, you would very soon find yourself claiming unemployment benefit. That's how it is, for all of us: you keep fucking up, you're out. The end.
But not if you're a part of pgmol's inner circle, apparently. Ineptitude, inefficiency, and an arrogance that borders on egotism means you move further and further up the greasy pole.
Haaland was holding his ground, waiting for the ball to drop which he's perfectly entitled to do. Pickford then clattered him which he is absoluty not entitled to do.From ESPN VAR Review : "This incident could have resulted in all three possible outcomes: a penalty to Man City, a free kick to Everton or play on. Referee Taylor chose the last option, and there isn't enough definitive evidence to say that was incorrect.

Not often I agree with Murphy...Hahaha Danny Murphy calling out the VAR officals on talksport with that prick Webb there, says 100% he could do a better job than any of them,I’d say a large majority of the public could as well, but the corrupt idiots on VAR aren’t fit for purpose..
