PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

talk to nearly every fan of every club, they know the real intention of all this nonsense, and that is to reinstate the old cartel, it might sound like hyperbole but this is a fight between good and evil

We keep seeing comments from all except the Red 3 supporting us. For the first few years it worked & led to us being booed at every ground but now they can see through it.

Pep fought the injustice of the establishment in Spain and championed for the people to achieve the hard fought common good. Catalonia forever.

He won.

Pep sees injustice in England and again is fighting against the red self appointed establishment.

He won.

We have our own Super Hero, on loan from Catalonia. Mancunian forever.

with all the shit this club has been against us, I believe Pep will be with us for along time, all the so called top six are hoping he quits which will give them a chance as they believe once Pep has gone they will have a chance. The problem is Pep is still very young and the more shit they throw the more he will be drive his legacy into history.

its going to get worse mate if we clear up on the 10th June there going to explode and the venom they spit will be like we havnt seen before, i allways wondered how masses of people could be controlled and its through being brainwashed by the media and other social network platforms, a bit like Putin in Russia, regarding the charges i really do hope city have their cards tucked away because if not we WILL be getting stiched up like a kipper and served on a platter and all for one thing to bring the likes of Liverpool back into the top 4 when they couldnt do it on the pitch

I have started my personal campaign against the gang of red Shirters on every platform.
Not defending City but going on the attack by exposing them and their corrupt behaviour.
They compete with loaded dice and call it fair.
So far, by reading the replies, it seems fans from other clubs are getting the message.

Wish the decision would be made during this summer however it probably won't be until Summer 2025.

no i think the longer it drags the better, its not having a bad effect on our results, i think Pep is thriving at taking them on (he knows), i wouldnt even be surprised if he extended contracts again with the club so seeing this is put to bed and the new North stand being constructed and him reeping the rewards on the back of more European games like the Real Madrid match, filling the ground with near to 70,000 he could then sit in the sun with a glass of wine and look back at what he created, the Pep Guardiola stand how fitting that would be

Haha seems every article about the league win has financial charges featuring heavily. I love me some salty tears.
The thing that's disingenuous about all this is that (a) they really don't know exactly what the charges are and (b) the little we do know about them appears to have no bearing on our winning these titles.

We do know one is about Mancini's Al Jazira contract. That ended in 2012, which was the first year of FFP, which we know we failed and ended up agreeing a settlement with UEFA. This has no bearing on our current success whatsoever.

We also know that the same charge relates to payment of player image rights via Fordham. Reuters reported that UEFA discussed that arrangement with us in 2015, and if that's correct we know that no disciplinary action was taken over this. My guess is that these payments might not have been reported to UEFA from 2013-2015 but I'd surmise we did include them after that, and it seems we ended the arrangement completely in 2018, If that's right, then I'd say UEFA took no action as they had no material impact on our FFP position.

And if it didn't impact our FFP position then it's inconceivable it would be any different as far as the PL's own rules are concerned. Therefore any insinuation that these allegations had any bearing on our success over the last few years, and that we wouldn't have been as successful had we not done what we're alleged to have done, is completely and utterly wide of the mark.

I think I said this in the wrong forum, but I'll say my thoughts on FFP:

Everything regarding FFP is stupid... because FFP is stupid a concept.

FFP was NOT designed to keep the league competitive, that is a big misnomer the general populace has.

Instead it was a limitation on spending wherein the big clubs stayed big and the small clubs stay small, hence, FFP is essentially ANTI-COMPETITIVE.

Even if City did break FFP rules, I don't care at all if media spew this because FFP is a sham to begin with.

On top of that, FFP was designed to stop clubs from going bankrupt, and over the last few years we have STILL SEEN MANY CLUBS FUCK UP FINANCES EVEN WITH FFP. And City were clearly never in danger of going bankrupt, so it's design implementation for it's intention was insanely flawed.

The league could have easily put in a limit to spending by ALL clubs in the premier league, similar to America which forces all teams to have the same wage/spending cap, but they didn't. If they truly wanted competition, where everybody is fighting for the league they could have done this.

Anyways, that's it. FFP is the biggest sham of a system I have ever seen in professional sport.
