Anyone know what role does Kimmich actually play? I have never watched him that much. Is he a purely a 6 + right back?
Seems like Bernie will be leaving, so we need to replace his RW, CM contributions. Can he play on the gundo role as well?

What exactly are you expecting him to show when he comes on for 3 minutes when we’re 3-0 up?Not so sure here, he has shown nothing at all, the likes of Ake and Grealish were underwhelming to start but Phillips looks way, way off our level.

Just to add to the post above, he is creative as hell and averages 2 chance creations per match, which is mad for a DM. No, it tells us Pep doesn’t think he’s ready to risk playing instead of Rodri on a run in we had to win every game. Tells us nothing about how he’s improving or not in training, his workrate in training, his attitude around the squad in training, whether Pep thinks he’s starting to get what’s required. So no you have no idea what Pep thinks he deserves over the next 3 games.Maybe we’ll find out this week.
Maximo Perrone also in the squad and play "better" in his two appearances for us but suddenly didn't get his chances anymore preferring instead to give more minutes to Philips instead Perrone.
Like you said, maybe Pep likes the idea to play Rodri more because it's more guarantee to win consistenly instead playing his backup Philips and Perrone on their first season in the club.

Waking up to being 2022/23 Champions is just so much better than waking up yesterday being 2021/22 Champions. Or 700 mornings ago to being 2020/21. Just another 350sh sleeps till waking as 2023/24 Champions.
