Mendes probably would like to keep Bernardo's slot in City for himself and place one of his players in there. I think he looks more like Mahrez, who is still productive. The top five threads on the transfer forum are Bellingham, Kane, Rice, Kimmich and Mac Allister.
Bellingham's joining Real Madrid, Kane is never coming to City, people are only talking about Rice because Bellingham isn't happening, Kimmich isn't leaving Bayern and it looks like Alexis Mac Allister is going to Liverpool.
I feel like there are zero decent links between us and any players.

It does seem besides Gvardiol that like you say any midfield targets are heading elsewhere if (only an if at the moment) the rumors are true?

Yeah it's weird. Don't get me wrong, I'm just impatient and want to do a deep dive into whoever will be playing for us next season.

Short turnaround this summer as well with the season ending later? I don’t buy this not trying to distract the team etc either mate? We seen Laporte crying after the chavs match which shows he’s leaving? Bernardo has intimidated for a couple of seasons now he would like to move on if possible yet has t disrupted the team etc?

There will be moves going on in the background but ultimately we do have two big games coming up and that's the focus right now.
The window opens in June and I'm sure we'll see some movement and more links in the media after then. I don't anticipate there will be as much change as people are expecting though. We made alot of changes last summer, so unless a few players decide they want a new challenge, then I'm only really expecting 2 or 3 new signings and they will most likely replace departing players like Laporte.

I'd say transfer windows are rarely as busy as we think they're going to be.
If you look at lists of what people expect/ want our incoming and outgoing to be, the lists are usually about twice as long as is realistic.

I can see quite a few youngsters being sold for decent money with buy backs and probably include Palmer in that? He’s not progressing sat on the bench is he?
I think we will see Kovacic links tonight or this week, Chelsea want to do their selling quickly according to their journalists. Ruben Loftus cheek already going Milan, I think we will see Kovacic links soon

I think so, their journalists were saying Chelsea wanted all the selling done in June or straight after the season

So if we want kovacic then we should be putting a cheeky quick offer if of no more than £30m imo. One year left and they need to sell!

The only midfielders there's been links to are Kovacic, Veiga and Mac Allister, that was from Martin Blackburn. Every Chelsea Journalist has linked us to a move for Kovacic.

£30m is the very most I'd want us to pay, a cheeky bid would be £15m, they need to get their higher earners gone.So if we want kovacic then we should be putting a cheeky quick offer if of no more than £30m imo. One year left and they need to sell!
