I get that package for £19.99. I still think it’s overpriced. As a new customer, NowTV gives me all Sky Sports channels for £25 a month. The service is excellent and I’m happy to pay it.

140 quid a month? Must have loads of extras in for that. I use NowTV and pay £30/month which gets me all of the Sky games (and my lad watches the F1 on that as well) plus I get BTTV for free with my broadband package.
Rubbish. You get more than three on Saturday and Sunday. I watched boxing last Saturday etc.To me this is still way to expensive considering you get like 3 live games a week?
Something has to be done about the 3pm blackout imo - because at the moment, I cannot justify paying for the little live football that is actually on.

I enjoy watching all matches plus boxing. Subscribe to this illegal streaming and you’re responsible for these men being imprisoned. So it's poor value if you just want to watch your own team's games and don't want to spend the whole weekend watching sport.

Yes I got that. Just putting the other perspective. If you are a supporter a lesser PL team you might be getting two live games a month, could go watch a non league game for a similar cost of the personalised per match cost.
I've never subscribed to any of these services nor would I, I don't pay people for IP they don't own that I could get for free and that has no guarantees about reliability.
A legal service from an overseas broadcaster and a VPN is a more attractive option to try next season.
Those “legal” broadcasters from other countries and then using a vpn ain’t legal here!
The law was introduced around 60 years ago years ago to stop attendances at games being reduced especially in lower leagues.A question I have about the 3 o'clock blackout in the UK. The rest of the world can subscribe and watch but not the UK. It can't be because of reduced gates at the games Shirley?

The only time it was withdrawn was during the pandemic
Now that clubs have sold their arses for cash, that 3'oclock nonsense should be rescinded.
It’s not the clubs that have sold their arses for cash that are supposed to benefit from it.
It isn't about being televised it's about people through the gates. Those clubs are very unlikely to be televised though, I remember getting giddy seeing cameras at Maine Rd seeing the cameras and knowing we would be on match of the day.

Nice to see that the BBC have got our presentation as the chosen graphic but what's come over 'em?bbc report made £7.2m in 5 years, other members 3-5 years in prison.
Not directly but indirectly.
But their fanbases are also not as loyal and also more likely to be tempted to watch TV than go to watch kick and rush on a cold winter.
That’s the argument anyway, I suppose it's also a law from an era where there was less tribalism. Tbh the Premier league ought to just come to an agreement to give a fairer share to lower leagues to maintain their infrastructure and it could get away with a lift of the 3pm blackout.
