Champions League Final | Ticket Criteria | SOLD OUT

A good lesson in some banks mugging customers off. I used Chase to purchase a £156 (€180) ticket. There are no charges and with the exchange rate it cost £155.78, and in addition I got £1.56 back as cashback! So in total £154.22. If newer Internet based banks can offer full exchange rate, no fees and cashback then these archaic old school banks should be doing better. There is still time for anyone who is going out there to get a Chase account and any purchases out there will be fee free, offer full exchange rate and give you 1% cashback! Just a thought.

I've been thinking of getting an account with them for a while now they sound pretty good.

Just opened one now, card on way but they’ve added it to my Apple wallet so can use it straight away cheers

He did only say up to, tbf. But yeah, you can already get tickets for less than half that on touting sites. Closer to the game it’ll be even less I imagine, and if he’s out there I’m sure there will be spares knocking about for closer to face value.
Apparently there’s no paper tickets so I’m wondering how these transactions could take place.

just checked this again and now the original amount of £121 has disappeared and it just shows the £125.10 so it must be the foreign transaction fee that has overridden the original price, cheers mate

No problem pal, think mine shows up as Paris as well when I checked my statement. Don't worry about it, just be one of the UEFA departments in Paris taking the payment. Always best to use Starling or something similar to avoid these fees cos they add over the course of the trip.

Pretty random question but we got 2 category 4 tickets on Tuesday which were €140 equivalent of around £121, this has come off my card from UEFA, however also come off my card is another payment from UEFA for £125.10 that says UEFA C.L. Final Paris CHE? Haven’t got a clue why or how this has happened, anyone else have this? I presume/hoping it just disappears at some point but it has been on there since yesterday and still showing. Not even sure if it doesn’t come off who to speak to City or UEFA (can you even talk to someone there)? Anybody else had the same issue?
Don’t panic too much on the name. Ours also stated this name but reverted to “Uefa CL final” a few days later.

Have both transactions gone through or do they appear as ‘pending’? If pending, the unexpected amount will probably disappear as it won’t be processed from their end. If it’s not pending, call your bank in the first instance as they may be able to cancel it given the circumstances.

Note - pending transactions will take away from your overall balance before they clear

The ticket is electronic. If you go through an agency they will transfer it to you UEFA app.
if you get it as a spare from someone, meet them in person and they will show they have the ticket on their app.

I remember you on forums from many years ago. Did you come over for the gillingham game? You deserve a ticket mate. Hope you get one.
Ha well before my time mate, but was over a few occasions in the 2007-14 era but life just got in the way.
It's a close trip for me now (well, a lot closer than Australia) so it would have been crazy not to at least go and be around it all.
I was at the QPR game so I've already been blessed enough in my lifetime, I'm not hung up if I don't get in. Plenty more deserve tickets

This is exactly what me and many others did for the World Cup, buying a few tickets with cash.

If you manage to buy from someone, they will give you the login details for the app (email and password). Just make sure that's all legit, and agree with them for you to change the password so you don't get fucked over when you go to the ground and they've sold the code to someone else who has already used the ticket (which happened to someone)

Sad fucker I know, but just reading between the lines on Twitter and forums with the help of Google translate. Not sure if Inter have sold out yet, presuming so as they ran a big ballot for access codes and seems a fuck load of their season ticket holders missed out on any opportunity to buy.

Consensus seems to be that the fuckers have been trying to sell access codes to each other for upwards of €1k, that's before the person buys a ticket on top of that. They're a massive club so no doubt there will be uptake, but a lot of their fans have been priced out.

Kick offs as well from their curva nord ultras regarding big banners and tifos. I think they've point blank been told they cannot carry these into the stadium in Istanbul, which they see as a big middle finger to their loyalest fans who everybody is happy to latch onto but nobody is standing by them and protesting it.

Let's hope some of these tickets end up getting handed back over the weekend and a few more opportunities become available for blues who wanted one but missed out at the last minute.
To be fair, there have been stories of City fans selling access codes as well for hundreds of pounds so Inter fans aren't alone in that

Can fully understand the first bit but I’d be nervous about dealing with a local, they send you the ticket, you fuck off without paying, you give them the money they fuck off without sending the ticket. I know it’s only like transacting a paper ticket but with technology there always seems to be a scam in the equation.
