Can't believe it's taken Tolm saying it for me to think of Gomez to Burnley. Makes sense on pretty much every level given his past with Vinnie.

Personally hope it works out for them. There's a player in there somewhere but not entirely sure he's at our level...yet...and the way Pep has the team playing doesn't entirely hinge on a ball-playing full-back in the same way we kept Zinchenko and Cancelo around for so long.

His delivery is lethal, though, so if he becomes an attacking full-back at Burnley then I'd expect to see rave reviews about him.
