Fucking joke, once your off the car park it’s ok but there’s no one marshalling the buses etc uefa are cunts
 
It was absolutely horrendous. I’ve never seen anything like that. We got the Metro going to the ground after seeing the Queue at Yenakapi and that worked well after 3 changes! However, relatively stress free.

After the game. My god, I was one of thousands of people just walking for miles in the hope of getting a taxi. It was a forlorn hope for most. It was pitch black, dangerous as the roads were fast and at one point fans were almost crossing a motorway to get to a place where they may have had the chance of a taxi. It was a terrible sight to see so many blues just walking with little hope. I got lucky and flagged one down but had to offer him £50 Sterling to take us which he accepted. There were so many people still left. The police were useless, uefa useless.
 
I thought the bus to the ground was bad with having to walk the last couple of miles before some kind of krypton factor assault course at the end but the car park chaos after was something else.
 
what an absolute disaster those buses were. ending up jumping in a taxi with 3 random lads chaos
 
Anyone on an early flight back home this morning....taksim is gridlocked at present. I am on the hava 16 bus and its gone about 400m in 40 minutes. I am on an 8am so not worried....yet...

Edit once out of taksim it's fine

Just back to hotel 3 hours to get back to town finished up getting metro and a taxi cos the shuttle buses after were a shambles. Why they thought 5 or 6 buses after the game was sufficient god only knows. Still as I made my way back from the car park to the metro it was nice to see all the UEFA chaffeured vehicles leaving by a quick exit that us common folk are forbidden to use

They got a police escort on posh coach’s in and out the ground , watched them both ways .. we got a taxi for £40 back to taxim and was at hotel within 40min ..
feel bad for those worried about flights but I wouldn’t have relied on a free bus service if I had a flight back this side of 6am
 
Worst fan experience of my life. Getting in at gate R was a disgrace then the bus nightmare. We walked for an hour then got in a rogue taxi with dumb and fuckin dumber in the front seats and all that for €100! Having the final at that ground was a wank idea.
 
Want to say thanks to the lot on my bus that looked out for me, it was worse than a sauna on there and standing up in that heat for a couple of hours I started struggling. They got me a seat, water and made sure I was ok. Never happened before, must be my age…

But thanks, I know it was a group of Toronto /Canadian Blues and a couple of others, I really appreciate it.

Ha ha, as I'm walking out they were leaving. They had security running at the side of the cars. I deliberately walked in front of them and told them to fuck off. A City fan eventually dragged dragged me out of the way before I got run over. I kept shouting why should they leave when we were struggling to.
