I hope he does. I think it's the perfect time. At his peak and on the precipice of his descent.

To go out after this season obviously doesnt get any better,he will be rightfully immortalised because of his achievements,and we will find it very difficult to secure a replacement........something we have to get right.

Heard him interviewed on Swiss tv and he was asked about his future. Non-committal, talks are ongoing, nothing yet decided etc. - but instinctively I got the impression that he‘s more likely to leave.

Agreed mate but it also showed at times we need more youth in the squad? When Gundo and KDB are off it and struggling with the physical side of the game we need young top class fresh legs on.

With the latest transfer rumors, I thought he'd end up staying.

However, he did say he wants to play somewhere where he sees himself retiring (or something to that effect), so going to Barca/Spain doesn't seem so odd to me.

Whatever happens, he's a City legend, and I hope he comes back one day.
