This is what pissed me off. UEFA banging on about contactless payment but those doing the food would not let me pay in TLira. Insisted it had be Euro. I couldn't remember my card pin number. They wanted €2.50 for free water.
 
10 euro for a sausage hot dog &5euro for a bottle of pepsi paid for by card why does my card statement say £21-75 ???
We got on one of the last buses back to yenikapi 2-20am arrived back at 3-35am back to apartment 3-55am now back at the bus station for an 8am bus to Sunny Beach.
Uafa will pat themselves on the back claiming a successful final after last year's casos! The crap organisation to transport us to and from and provide an adequate level of service for food and drink in the ground will soon be forgotten about

Bread was as dry as too but we were absolutely starving

I don’t know where to start, the club must complain on behalf of all fans and without wanting to go full dipper, we must be compensated for the shit show put on by UEFA. Having spent the last few weeks telling us not to go by metro, use the free shuttle buses, a steward told me they couldn’t cope and they were overwhelmed by the number of fans wanting to use the service! A dirt park for a car park, no systems, no organisation nothing. Raw sewage coming from the few toilets available in the fan zone, I estimated around 30 toilets at most for thousands of fans. Stewards who knew nothing, no signage, a hour queue for shit overpriced food. About five people serving trying to serve around 500 people with just two card machines and staff making prices up as they went along. Stewards on their phones rather than trying to help, the problems went on and on.

Well its not city’s job too but in previous finals when similar happened, they just put whoever was there on the next flight and got them away/home. Not sure if thats happened last night yet as im still in Istanbul and not heading to the airport for an hour or so… hope everyone eventually gets home safe!!
 
I have to give credit to the driver of our bus who, after escaping the car park, really put his foot down. I counted passing 12 Yenikapi-Man City buses on the way back and it took him 30mins.
But what a shit show that was...somewhere a UEFA official is thinking 'that'll teach 'em to boo' as he chortles to himself...

Got off bus at 2.20am and just made LAST metro back to hotel at Atakoy, otherwise I was fucked and at the mercy of taxi drivers demanding 50-100 Euro for a 5 quid journey.

Seriously thinking of going full on Dipper mode and writing to UEFA asking for compensation for stress [emoji23]
 
Walked 2 3 milesto get a bus to airport fucking joke but on the flip side our drive back to our resort fucking brilliant drive pulled over to get us beer played city songs and as we pulled up to our hotel put queen we are the champions on full walk all the staff came out to see what was going on then joined in you couldn't make it up anyway no sleep and wete on it thank you city for for filling this focs dream's

Mate, you read my mind. In fact I think THE UEFA twat was THE person on car park duty and had a T Shirt on with those words. Can’t but think someone in a meeting said ‘but what about’ and he was told to be quiet, it was only City fans. Why push us in EVERY communication not to use metro or taxi, and only use bus. And then they don’t make sufficient arrangements. It’s not as though they didn’t know how many of us there were !

I for one will be continuing to BOOOOOOOO !
 
is there any reported issues for shuttle buses today? I’m getting shuttle bus from Taksim Square . Flights at 5 oclock. Was thinking of setting off about 2pm
 
Signage on the Metro for the Stadium was pretty piss poor. Took us 3 hours to find it and the station near the stadium had people being kettled into a space in some railings no wider than a standard door which left people stampeding in a tight confined area.

Buses on the way back were an absolute joke, this stadium is in the middle of no where and doesn’t have the infrastructure to support the capacity it holds. What possessed Uefa to hold it in Istanbul?
 
Our shuttle broke down on the way back as well. They do things weird over there! Anyway back home, probably a stone lighter after spending 6 hrs in sauna conditions on shuttle buses and planes.

Could be worse, like the poor chap who couldn’t travel on Flight 1 going out. Hope he’s feeling better and probably for the best he didn’t risk those buses.

Certainly not Turkish Lira, I’m guessing more Rolex being the operative currency.
 
Total shambles afterwards...allowing cars and fans to go same way...no signs...no stewards....no barriers...no queues...people in wheelchairs no support...overcrowded buses...a fucking free for all....got back to hotel 5am ... and toilets at ground d shite...BUT WE WON IM HAPPY AND OUT FOR FEW [emoji482] IN ISTANBUL TO BASK IN THE GLORY OF BEING CHAMPIONS [emoji471] OF EUROPE
