Yeah true and for me Lewis in a midfield feels like a player who has played there for years and buying to many midfielders will stop the progress of some of our quality youth players, we have some right ballers in our youth squad

Kovacic is a completely different player to Gundo and Bernardo which is interesting, Kovacic is a transition player can start counter attacks when his teams won possession, driving the ball up the pitch by himself. Shrugging off challenges etc. Creating space with high speed dribbling.
Does it for Croatia and Chelsea under Tuchel.

If as rumoured we sign Kovacic and Gvardiol I think Pep will change the way we play.

Such a shame we missed out on Bellingham. With Bellingham and Kovacic we wouldn't have to worry about the situations with Gundogan and Bernardo.
I can't see Gvardiol not in the first team...Why? I think we'll have to look into 2-3 wingers with Foden moving into the mid. Sane and Olise seem realistic to me, plus someone on the left as an understudy to Jack.
The only one out of these who I don't really see happening is Szoboszlai, could be Barella, Veiga or even McAtee.
overrated as hell. Kulusevski available for 35mI wouldn't mind Dani Olmo myself, can play AM, LW AND RW.
