We do, not sure if that’s from this summer but was told few months ago City won’t be going in for him. They’re happy for him to move on and play elsewhere.Dont we get first dibs on him?
He has been angling to move for the last 2/3 years so his commitment on the pitch isn’t questionable so of course I’d want him to stay! Thing is does he want to go to PSG? Also will they pay what we want? Still all up in the air and be a long summer with us struggling to get the outgoings out, just because of clubs who have the money and a club the players will be happy to go to..
At some point, he will have to think about things in a different way. His commitment on the pitch can't be questioned, and while he doesn't seem particularly unhappy, it can appear like he is waiting for the right club to be able to make the right offer to us. Which makes it probably at least 2 years now that he could have had a higher wage, had he accepted the offer on the table. If he doesn't get the move he wants, yes he is helping other clubs bu lowering his value, but he isn't helping himself.
