1894 are thinking of organising a boycott (where fans - who can afford to do so - donate their match ticket or a token amount to the MCFC Foodbank - or a charity of their choice).

Would love to know people's thoughts.
Love this idea. Not sure why anyone has to think about a boycott, given the FA and PL contempt of all fans over the last few decades which will only get worse. Just asked my daughter to guess what time the kick off is and after she started at 2 and got to 5 and I said later her response was 'oh fuck off they are taking the piss again'. Boycott the game and donate to a local charity / foodbank, it would generate so much positive PR for the fans and show the money grabbing twats what we really think of them.

The original idea was amateur champions v the profesional champions until both leagues fell out.

So in fairness we should be playing Wrexham

Well I actually enjoy a day out in London and the trains ( if they’re running ) normally run later on a Sunday than a Saturday, so a later kick off is perfect for me.

Thousands of quality pubs to choose from for a leisurely pre match drink. Prefer it to a shithole like Leicester, with about three shit pubs to choose from and isn’t really any quicker by train anyway.

I think you're in a tiny minority there then pal

Swing into action 1894 it’s time to make a stand a massive amount of money to a charity would hit the press and I’m sure supporters of other clubs would join us apart from the arse who are on the door step. Would be even better if City said they ain’t going to sell any ticket as well, after the transport issues in Istanbul it’s about time the club supported the fans for a change.

Unless you just happened to be in London that Sunday evening and were mindnumbingly bored to boot, just why woud anyone bother travelling to watch this nonsense. I seriously believe it's now time, that as a fanbase, we collectively give Wembley a wide birth.

Totally agree with you. Love exploring London on foot & finding random historical pubs. Now I've sussed it out, the city centre is relatively compact (well, compared to Istanbul anyway) so usually give the Underground or bus a miss, at least until I get to the stage where I'm either too knackered or too pissed!

The club need to get involved here. The fans are just having the piss taken out of them
