At this rate we might as well sell half our squad and play our academy players for next season.
Hell noI wonder if both sides might be happy to do a swap deal, Walker for Pavard.
We've been linked with him a fair bit over the years and on paper he seems a good fit for the new system, with his experience of playing right back and centre back. Could be a very Akanji-esque signing.
Only a year left on his deal, too.
At this rate we might as well sell half our squad and put our academy players for next season.
They can take Cancelo as well.Kimmich or Davies in any deal for walker and Laporte
maybe pep is bored winning 5 pls in 6 years and wants to male it harder for himselfAt this rate we might as well sell half our squad and play our academy players for next season.
The thing is, we would have Ake, Gvardiol, Akanji and even Lewis all capable of playing there. Sergio Gomez doesn't want to leave either. We don't really need a LB. Kimmich would be the better choice, IMO.I'd want City to ask the question about Davies in any negotiation over Walker.
For Laporte.Kimmich or Davies in any deal for walker and Laporte
If four of our oldest players go, then it probably helps with refreshing the squad, as the age has been creeping up recently.A lot of this squad has been trying for 5/6/7 years to acheive what they did last week.
Pep's an intense, demanding boss. The standards demanded at City are very high. It's pretty natural that - especially the older players - will be considering if they want to keep going, go back to the well etc. or if they want to change things up, go somewhere with most of the success but a lot less stress.
For Laporte.
Don’t see Walker going but who bloody knows, this window is going to be wild.
Everyone who knows anything knows that Barcelona didn't bid for him last summer, PSG did.
The fact Romano doesn't know that just tells me he's not clued up about this deal.
Exciting. Pep clearly wants changes and rightly so. Refresh needed, even after a treble. It seems that way mate and besides the obvious ones we can mention it seems a potential HUGE squad refresh could be on!
Oooh you knicker wetter you !Kimmich :)

The fact City are going straight in after the worlds best young defender speaks volumes, we want the quad : )
The thing is, Bobb plays better as a cm/am. He played the wide position for quite a while before BBM took over the EDSMakes sense. Bobb is the sort of wide player Pep likes. Good footballer, looks after the ball. Intelligent.
