Wonderful news about Peter Drury. He makes such a difference to the presentation of any game.
Good riddance, senile tw*t.
Shame that. NBC's loss is Sly sports gain. Top quality commentator and I'll miss him. I wonder if Le Saux or Dixon will join him.![]()
EXCLUSIVE: Peter Drury will replace Martin Tyler at Sky Sports
EXCLUSIVE BY MIKE KEEGAN: Drury is currently the voice of the Premier League on US broadcaster NBC Sports. They are owned by Comcast, who own Sky.t.co
He's continuing to work for American TV, covering a Saturday game each week there. And then a Sunday game for Sky.Bad news for American fans
Give overI know he’s quite popular but I find him quite grating with his over the top hyperbole which seems like he’s written it down in advance. I watch streams, usually American ones, so shouldn’t be an issue to me
Why?He should have gone immediately following his “de Gea, de Bruyne, de arby” comment. One of the worst things I’ve heard.
Be careful what you wish for with Peter Drury though, I can’t stand him either.
If not quite an alliance a realisation of who the real power in the game is.Maybe , finally Sly sports have read the room correctly, and realise that an alliance with a sky blue shirt makes more money for them ??
