Hard to know what is going on behind the scenes, but if Rice is truly Arsenal’s top Target it seems silly to be jerking around West Ham with mediocre offers.

he will be gone by the time gundo decides
I think the gundo thing has to be a red herring
Either we know he is going and they are keeping quiet to line up other targets
Or he is staying and they haven’t announced it

But City are too shrewd to be just sat on their hands hoping gundo stays or rice waits
Has to be more to it

and some people think he will play for city again

Cancelo must have believed he was more powerful than Pep, would love to know what exactly happened behind the scenes this season, there was a point midway though the year where the players really looked like they didnt give a fuck and for them to turn it around and win the treble its a miracle.

Unless Arsenal offer 90m-100m without add ons, there is still time and it looks like West Ham are waiting on City to see will we came with offer and I think West Ham would like Phillips and money but that depends on Phillips if he doesnt want to move then pay them or give some academy player insted of Phillips to reduce price.
That all depends if we want Rice.

Cutting him out from the squad was the decision that won City the Treble.

Bernardo also seems much happier after he left.. probably was getting on Bernardo's missus's nerves which is why they wanted to leave.

In all honesty, should have left him in Madrid last year after his sabotaging our defense.

Gundo is 33 though as well and we were planning on buying Bellingham anyway so why not Rice?
If Kovacic wasn't a done deal i would agree with you in that he should be signed regardless but if Gundo and Bernardo stays with Kovacic incoming, there is no need for Rice. OR bellingham

I had thought about him as assistant. I wrote Iniesta in the thread yesterday, largely tongue-in-cheek as I know he wants to continue playing but a former player is always logical.

In terms of the role, it's about seeing where weaknesses are. Analysing those opportunities to attack. As a player, Lampard was one of the best at that. So you'd imagine he could do it as an assistant, helping Pep find those areas to exploit. His managerial career has been poor, but that's often been the case with Pep's assistants so I don't think we need to worry about that too much.

Pep has told Txiki he wants someone the players would know.

Seems Fern still wants to play football, I fear!

If Phil is indeed going to be playing as a 10 next season there wouldn't be a better person to help the transition as well.

Gundo won`t play at the same intensity imo and Bernardo wants out?
