I wonder if we'd see him in Blue already if Gundogan was already off...
Gundo is 33 though as well and we were planning on buying Bellingham anyway so why not Rice?

I think the gundo thing has to be a red herringhe will be gone by the time gundo decides
and some people think he will play for city again

Unless Arsenal offer 90m-100m without add ons, there is still time and it looks like West Ham are waiting on City to see will we came with offer and I think West Ham would like Phillips and money but that depends on Phillips if he doesnt want to move then pay them or give some academy player insted of Phillips to reduce price.he will be gone by the time gundo decides

We won't sell to Arsenal again. If they will pay 50m-60m I would sell to them.
Mate it's Cancelo I would sell him to anyone for good price. We won't sell to Arsenal again.
Why?We won't sell to Arsenal again.
If Kovacic wasn't a done deal i would agree with you in that he should be signed regardless but if Gundo and Bernardo stays with Kovacic incoming, there is no need for Rice. OR bellinghamGundo is 33 though as well and we were planning on buying Bellingham anyway so why not Rice?
Fair enough. Hopefully Real comes knockingWe won't sell to Arsenal again.
Why?
Newcastle it is then, I’ll fire up the motor :)We won't sell to Arsenal again.
I had thought about him as assistant. I wrote Iniesta in the thread yesterday, largely tongue-in-cheek as I know he wants to continue playing but a former player is always logical.
In terms of the role, it's about seeing where weaknesses are. Analysing those opportunities to attack. As a player, Lampard was one of the best at that. So you'd imagine he could do it as an assistant, helping Pep find those areas to exploit. His managerial career has been poor, but that's often been the case with Pep's assistants so I don't think we need to worry about that too much.

If Phil is indeed going to be playing as a 10 next season there wouldn't be a better person to help the transition as well.I had thought about him as assistant.
