It sucks but he's earned the right to do whatever he wants with zero ill-will.

The Rice potentially being Gundo's replacement shouts make zero sense to me. They couldn't be more different in terms of play style IMO.

At this point, keeping Bernardo could be the best bit of business we could do all summer. Losing Ilkay AND Bernie in the same window and potentially going to McAtee and Kovacic as their replacements seem like a recipe for disaster.

we just won the treble. surely we need to come out with a stronger squad for next season after all transfers are done this summer than what we had last season.

PL rivals will spend obscene money to catch up with our quality. look at Arsenal, Havertz, Rice, Timber and 1-2 more surely planned. and that is just Arsenal, Chelsea certainly aint stopping at Nkunku, can see United add Mount, Kane and a top keeper too whatever it costs who are certainly big upgrades from Eriksen, DeDoughnat and Weghorst.
And how did massively outspending us work out for United & Chelsea last season?

So you're ruling out Pickford then

Arsenal going for it this season, city a little slow on the transfer side, gundo messing around stay or go. Kova transfer taking a long time, all seems a little slow. Deal for walker should have been sorted, he's still a great squad player.
Not really in reality as the season has not finished yet, with majority of players on international duty.

The contracts they sign begin 1st July so not really slow.

You’re not seriously comparing agueros last injury striken season with Gundos playing every week clutch goal scoring treble winning season as captain?

Also we didnt manage to sign an Aguero replacement for 12 months
I’m saying we will be fine. Why is there always a answer back. Yeah he’s gone, we will get a replacement. That’s just how it works.

Sad to see Gundogan go, (if the reports are correct).

I would have hoped, however, that we were in for a better midfielder to replace him than Rice.
I agree with this. With Gundo going, and Bernie seemingly still looking for a way out, I’m perplexed that Rice can be viewed in any shape or form as a number 8 and thus a replacement midfielder.

Of course I’ve learnt to never underestimate Pep so I’d by more than happy to eat my words.

Lol

Out of curiosity, and a question for others who watch far more leagues, if Rice is not seen as a Gundo replacement, who is out there who could be ?

And I'm not talking about the likes of Kimmich, FDJ.
