GunnerGer doesn’t fall into this bracket , something about Arsenal fans that is quite weird.Fair enough pal. For me you are welcome in here because you don’t take the piss and don’t try and antagonise people for no reason. Your “colleague” Jack Hackett is frankly an antagonistic piss taking wankstain - be honest, could you imagine a City fan going onto an arsenal forum and make anything like as many snide posts and being allowed to remain? He really is a weird fucker, apart from winding people up I don’t see what his rationale is for being here
I wouldn't imagine money is an issue, more the fact that it's bad business to buy Rice before Phillips has been sold. His value will diminish and we could also be stuck paying his wages or having to force him out and cover them. He's at his most valuable right now, before the replacement has arrived. Better to get him out, bring in a return and then buy Rice than have him sat there and watch his value decrease as clubs know it's because he's never playing.
Ultimately Rice will be a player we want, but everything else has to be in shape to accommodate him.
But dont West Ham want Kalvin? Depends on himself as well i guess as maybe Bayern do want him and he fancies that over West Ham?
As I think someone alluded up page, if Rice only wanted Arsenal and only Arsenal were in for him then the deal would already be done. This feels fairly significant imo (although repeating noises we already sort of know about).I like Romano more than most on this forum, but it’s annoying when he tweets just for the sake of tweeting. Haven't we just won 300 million in prize money?
So your opinion that we can't/won't do the Rice deal if Kalvin does not leave is based on lack of finances rather than Kalvin taking up a squad space?
Are they not all leaving though! We have other deals to do!

Enjoy their pain !

Wouldn't flatter yourself. Vitriol here often tends to get reserved for entitlement. Matters not be it Arsenal, Villa, Spurs fans, or even blues.
That, and bad spelling/grammar.
Spill those beans! We have other deals to do!

Waiting on Mohit's confirmation of the Gvardiol signing.
I’m sure Pep is going to reveal our transfer strategy to some random plastic gooner with 150 twitter followersI can just imagine Pep as the bloke walks away… giggles to himself and mutters haha wanker under his breath as he takes a sip of his coffee.
Rice 100, Gvardiol 85, Kovacic 25. Still cash there but I’m sure we have sales to conduct too first.£300m not available now ?
Its likely going to be a 100m deal. Its not something that can be done in a short space of time. What I find significant, is we are the only team to actually bid for him. I genuinely believe Rice prefers Arsenal, and in this moment, Arsenal and West Ham are negotiating the terms of the deal. West Ham have dried to drum up a 'bidding war' but I think Arsenal have called their bluff as we know were Rice wants to play next season. I think City's interest is passive and dependent on too many variables, such as sending Phillips to West Ham, or anywhere for that matter when its becoming clear Kalvin has no desire to leave. As I think someone alluded up page, if Rice only wanted Arsenal and only Arsenal were in for him then the deal would already be done.
