I now feel that could be our master plan jrb and just blow Arsenal out of the water. 2 x payments of £45m plus add ons. Could Arsenal really afford that ?Why not bI’d £90mill and £10mill add ons? Boom! zDond and dusted. Unless City know the first offer will be rejected and that will be the 2nd bid?
West ham will test to see if we will go higher plus we haven’t see their new offer yet.Even if they offer little bit more but not good insalments and our is over 2 years, our offer is still better.
Latest score coming through on the vidiprinter.

Heard anything different mate ??Arse's arses twitching...
Time to stop sniffing the glue sticks…..It’s seems obvious to me that Rice wants to play, and should play for Arsenal.
1) hes guaranteed immediate first team football
2) nowhere near pressure of playing for treble winners
3) what’s happened to Phillips after moving to city
4) london
5) guarantees his England place
6) doesn t need to learn the pep way (takes at least a season)
7) City already have other options in that role
8) he hasn’t got the potential to be world class - he’s good, but not that good
9) he can be a legend at arsenal and their project which has only just started - not at city.
Let it go……….
That's what @tolmie's hairdoo told you anything can change in a daySomethings changed today. Very interesting.
No time for sentiment at our level…. Unfortunate for the lad but its best he leaves if Rice/Kovacic arriveNo swaps just pay West Ham the money. Move Phillips on in a seperate deal. Still could have given Phillips a better crack in getting back into contention.
So surely we don't bid without some encouragement from the player. Sounds like Rice to Arsenal might not be so sure.

Zero chance. City always check the camp first. So surely we don't bid without some encouragement from the player. Sounds like Rice to Arsenal might not be so sure.
