There’s a few FOC’s who go in my local golf club that wear socks and sandals this time of year, it’s definitely a fashion faux pas, especially dark coloured socks.

There is nothing to sue them on. They haven't written anything libellous or said anything slanderous.

Again, a criticism of the UAE is it's treatment of dissent and of journalists. Banning them for writing mean stuff about us would just play into their hands.

I do think fergie wouldn't be able to get away with what he did in todays world. Twitter and the like have opened up avenues for people to get info out there that traditional newspapers/sites ignore.
 
Piers Morgan on TalkTV has attempted a nice hatchet job on our club , Matt Lawton (Rag) David Dein (ex-Goon) some football finance expert (wearing a black & red tie) , and some clueless london blonde woman as their panel.
Over a £30m payment in 2012 from a geezer called Mohammed , the Times have no proof if he has any connection with our club and has no clue what the payment was for , but the carefully selected totally bias panel and bitter Goon Morgan proceeded to play City bingo for 20minutes.
To be fair David Dein was the only one who fought our corner repeatedly telling fat f*ck Morgan that we are innocent until proven guilty , looking forward to the debate over the £50m the Dippers claimed for a report into building a new stadium on Stanley Park which saved their skin regarding FFP.
The media and bitter wankers like Morgan and Lawton are so desperate to find us guilty of any misdemeanor its now becoming tedious , no matter how much they despise us , we will not lose any titles , we will not be relegated because this will make their puppet Masters and the Premier league look even more ridiculous.
