Pele definitely not a current Pep player, he'll never track back, he'll just stay in the box ;)Ignore the doom and gloom merchants, we could sign mbappe, gvardiol, Kovacic and Pele and they'd still moan. When has this club with the current structure in place ever let us down? They don't and that's why we are the best.
Be careful with that kind of talk in here.People who think city can just run it back with one transfer in are completely delusional. Agree there’s not a need to panic in June but to think one player coming in is enough is crazy.
probably a little more difficult to agree a fee for szobozlai , with city signing gvardiolProbably a little more difficult to agree a fee for Gvardiol, with Liverpool signing Szoboszlai.
Not when he has a release clause until the end of todayprobably a little more difficult to agree a fee for szobozlai , with city signing gvardiol
Delusional is abit strong. Of course we would be fine with the current treble winning squad minus Gundo. What an achievement not 4 weeks ago!I don’t think just one player is coming in. But people who are saying city would be fine with just one incoming and that’s it are deluded.
If we lose Rodri for any length of time we have serious problems, that does need addressing for me.Personally think Kovacic is a really good replacement for Gundo. Squad position is same as last season currently, but last season I thought we were probably 2 players short squad wise.
some of the usual flappers on here should have a little read of this :
"If you look at what we did in the last years, at the start of this project when we were here there was a need for a lot of changes and investment. Not anymore," he said.
"If you look at what we have done in the last five years, our level of investment in new players is well thought. We are not the top net spenders of the last year or the last three or five years because we have a platform where we know what to do and we can do it with time and intelligence
we are run by people who are considered the best people in their position in world football , our future is in very capable hands , add imo the greatest coach football has ever seen then patience is needed, and no amount of flapping and throwing the dummy out of the pram on here will change my thoughts.
some of the posts on here are nothing short of desperate, and without naming names we see the same people flapping or desperate for information, its quite sad to see.
I think Kovacic can play there and is pretty mobile. And we all hope Kalvin Phillips performs next season. But if we didn’t lose anymore players (except Cancelo and Gvardiol to replace Laporte) I’d like 2 more.If we lose Rodri for any length of time we have serious problems, that does need addressing for me.
Bwahahahaha.OK I will put it in a language you will understand.
Stop being a fucking ****, there is no need for it, were here for the same reason the team we support, no need to hostile when someone says something you dont agree with.
Fucking prick!
He has a release clause (expires today, which is why Liverpool are trying to get it done imminently), Gvardiol does not have one.probably a little more difficult to agree a fee for szobozlai , with city signing gvardiol
I would certainly consider myself to be closely described as have the same opinion as you. However the flip side of the argument is that it’s a forum for opinions. Everybody is entitled to them even if they’re wrong. I wonder if they could be corralled into their own thread titled “Toxic Flappers”. But then is that freedom or democracy? Should we vacate the space during the summer for the toxic flappers? But then why should we leave? This a metaphor for our times encapsulated in Tolmies “It’s Quiet” farewell tour thread.some of the usual flappers on here should have a little read of this :

Or go the other way and shrink it to just July. Having the window open in August is ridiculous...If they didn’t have a transfer window you wouldn’t get all this bullshit! They should do away with it and trams can buy players all the year around
That's exactly why I'd welcome the addition of a kid like Veiga, with an eye toward the future...Would LOVE to see 'the list' City have for potential incomings. Obviously they keep a very closed shop, but between minimal links and the odd suggestion on here, it FEELS like there are barely any players that would fit into our squad.
But then we all know Pep can elevate players to another level...
You'd think our list would simply be players that have the intelligence to understand Peps methods and likely potential to apply it.
Can't shake the feeling that we should be bringing in a fair few younger players to give them a year or two under Pep before he likely moves on - would be such a missed opportunity if not.
If Bernardo stays then somebody that can take their time, similar to Alvarez last year would perfect. Only if Bernardo goes maybe we will needs somebody a bit more ready to step in.That's exactly why I'd welcome the addition of a kid like Veiga, with an eye toward the future...
